Zoe had asked Paris for her boyfriends name and address for the sole reason of making her tell her. It would be less creepy that way, unfortunately Paris didn't tell her so Zoe had to be creepy. She already knew where Jaxon Winston lived on Sunny Sands road in Malibu, she had asked Maddie to do some digging. When they arrived outside of house number 246, Nathan took a nap on a park bench across the street while she watched. She watched bikers go by, runners and their dogs sprint past her, and old women hobbling down the street arm and arm. She stared at his door waiting for movement, when Nathan woke up and joined her there had still been no movement.
She was about to go over and knock when an orange sports car pulled into the driveway, she knew it was him before he even opened the door. She looked to Nathan and he nodded. Jax was grabbing something from his car looking down the whole time they approached, he jumped when he saw them. "Can I help you?"
"Your name's Jax right?" Zoe asked,
"Uh- yeah, who are you?" he attempted a friendly smile,
"Paris' friends," his face fell.
"I- I'm not scared of you," he said, as he stepped backwards.
"You're not?" Nathan asked, crossing his arms.
Jax swallowed, "Listen I didn't mean to hurt her,"
"But you still did," Nathan was stepping closer and for once wearing a shirt that showed off his arm muscles. "And karma's a bitch," Zoe had never been prouder of Nathan when he swung first. It was a quick, clean punch. Zoe briefly remembered being instructed not to hit mortals because it wasn't fair.
Oh well, just as Jax started to recover from Nathan's punch she hit him square in the jaw. When he stumbled back she hit him again, this time in the gut. He doubled over immediately, when he did Nathan pulled him up by his hair and punched him. It was all really a blur after that, Jax tried to hit her once and she caught his hand. It took less than five minutes for him to end up on the ground and bloody. "I- I'm calling the police," he grumbled fumbling for his phone.
Zoe knelt in front of him, "No you're not," she plucked the phone from his hands and sent a jolt of electricity through it. It made a popping noise and turned black, "whoops."
"You- you guys are crazy,"
A smirk spread across Nathan's face, "Yes, yes we are."
Zoe reached out and grabbed his chin, facing it towards her. "You are not going to see Paris ever again. You are not going to talk to her, or look at her, or even think about her. I want you so far out of her life, mkay." He nodded, "Use your words,"
"Y- yeah, yes,"
"Good," she tightened her grip on his chin, the skin under her thumb turning white. "If I hear you touched her again, I will show right back up here and kill you. I will bring the rest of our friends who wish they could've seen you reduced to this here and we will take turns and in the dead of night, when you finally think you are safe I will gut you- alive." She got back up and walked off with Nathan, kicking Jax's legs as she passed.
They walked to a nearby McDonalds, because they were hungry and Zoe's hands had started to throb and bleed through the bandages. She went to the bathroom as soon as they got there to change bandages. She unraveled them over the sink, and let the water clean the blood that had dried to her hands on the walk there. A mother and her little boy walked in, she did a double take on Zoe's hands. "Are you alright?"
She looked down, the back up at the woman's face. "Just had a fall on the way here,"
The lady nodded and went to the bathroom with her son, Zoe glanced at the mirror. I'm not going to punch you, she thought with a smile and she re-wrapped her hand. Her cuts stung a lot and after hitting someone they hurt much more than they had earlier that morning when it happened. At least when she left the bathroom Nathan met her with fries, chicken nuggets, and T.V. static sprite. She sat down in the booth sideways, her back to the wall and feet on the bench. Nathan sipped his drink, "Do you think we took that too far?"
