Zoe hadn't slept, shocker.  It was hard to sleep after learning that the Roman gods were real and one of her friends was likely trapped at the camp for Roman demigods.  Instead she started packing for their trip, Thalia had taken care of getting it cleared with Chiron and she'd taken care of panicking in her room.  She could see the light start to shine through her window, some the pictures on her wall started to reflect the light.  One of the pictures that was barely hanging on cast a shadow onto one of the others, she went to push it back to the wall but the tape didn't stick.  It fell to the ground like a dead leaf in the fall, she knelt to pick it up, finally seeing which picture it was.  It was old, from the summer after Paris showed up to camp, Paris was actually taller than Nathan in the picture.

Zoe was smiling in the picture standing in between the two of them, she had her arms thrown around both of their shoulders.  Nathan looked angry, he had only recently started outwardly showing emotions.  Paris on the other hand was beaming, she was hugging Zoe around her waist, back then Paris wore a seashell necklace everyday.  It was twisted with her camp necklace in the picture.  Impulsively, she picked up one of the frames beside her bed.  It held the picture of her and her mom, she took off the back and slid the picture of her, Nathan, and Paris in front of it.  She had once feared she'd forget what her mother looked like, that was until she turned out to look exactly like her.

She almost dropped it when she heard a knock at her door, "Who is it?"

  "Cassidy."

"Come in," she said, suddenly aware of her attire.  She was wearing one of Andy's shirts, the sleeves came down to her elbows and the bottom hem covered her shorts.  Normally, wearing his clothes helped calm her down, but his scent was starting to fade from that specific shirt.

Cassidy didn't look like she'd slept much either, "Hi," she shut the door behind her.

"Are you okay?" Zoe gestures for Cassidy to sit down, she listened awkwardly sitting down on the edge of her bed.  Zoe sat at the other end, tucking her feet under her thighs, "Cassidy?"

She was breathing heavily, her cheeks were slightly flushed, "I'm alright."

"I don't believe you, you came to me.  I don't think you even like me," her stomach started to sink.  She feared Cassidy was going to say she couldn't do, to say she wasn't prepared to go spy, that she didn't think it would work.  If Cassidy could go be a spy, they'd have to walk themselves back into the tunnels and hope for the best.  She didn't know if she could convince Issac to go without a plan and she didn't know if she could go back alone.  She knew she didn't want to, she knew she probably couldn't handle it.  Even so, she'd do it if she had to.  She would do whatever it took to get them back.

"I don't dislike you," she tapped her foot against the floor, "I just. . . I just need someone to talk to and I noticed your light was on, sorry."

"That's okay," she pulled her water bottle from her night stand, "What do you want to talk about?"

She shrugged, "I don't like the vibes in my cabin," she laughed to herself, "It's stupid."

"I've also been up thinking about stupid things," she took a long sip from her bottle, "What's wrong with the vibes?"

"I've been in the Aphrodite cabin and they like actually acknowledge each other and the Hephaestus cabin is better too, even yours is and it's only you."

"Lucy doesn't talk much to anyone, Peter is Peter, he doesn't like me."

"Why?" she smiled, "Did you fight him?"

"No, but I wasn't nice to him when he first got here.  Well, I wasn't friendly and I think he wanted to be friends."

"So not like the Devin situation?"
