Nathan dropped to his knees, digging his fingers into the dirt. He closed his eyes and called for back up, around him skeletons broke the surface of the soil. He pushed himself up from the ground, slightly shaky, protect. The skeletons ran into battle, bones clicking together. He lifted his head, staring down the hill. Everyone was fighting the horde of monsters. It wasn't that they were struggling to fight but the hords just kept coming.
Regrettably he wondered how long they would be able to hold up defenses- if they were overwhelmed- he didn't want to think about that. Just as he was about to charge into battle after the skeletons he felt something. A feeling in his gut, warning lights flashing, Zoe was in trouble.
He grabbed his knives and ran into the crowd to find Issac. She wasn't dead, not yet. Light was fading from the sky. Monsters disintegrated as he passed them. He didn't have time for panic to take over.

Paris had fallen asleep at a reasonable time, maybe that's why she woke up in a panic. She hadn't had a dream or anything like that, still she shot up in bed out of breath. Her hand was shaking as she set it on her chest, trying to regulate her breathing. She checked the clock, it wasn't even ten. She got out of bed, Andy, Matt, and Cassidy were sitting on the couch, flashes from the blue t.v. light illuminating their faces.
Andy noticed her first, "You okay?"
She almost said yes, but the look in his eyes told her he'd see right through her. "Not entirely," her heart still hadn't slowed, "Do we have any progress on Zoe?"
"I'll go check," Cassidy got up and left the room.
Matt turned to face her, "Dreams?"
She shook her head, "I-I don't know."
Andy smiled at her, "It's probably nothing," the lighting was bad but she was pretty sure his eye twitched. She rubbed her chest, her heart was still hammering.

Issac was covered in sweat, it was dark outside but the monsters kept coming so he kept fighting. "There you are!" Nathan stabbed a cyclops.
"I've been busy," he barely glanced at Nathan, though he sounded worried.
"It's Zoe," he breathed out, "She's in trouble."
He knew the son of Hades saying this was bad. He kept fighting, though he was beginning to feel nauseous. "What can we do from here?" Nathan didn't respond, they couldn't do anything. Both of them knew they were needed right where they were.
No matter how hard it was making fighting, no matter how much harder it was becoming to breathe. They had to keep fighting. Issac had to keep fighting. Sometimes nothing is the only thing you can do, Chiron had told him that at the end of last summer. Maybe the old horse was right, they had a rescue team there. A rescue team of their friends and impressive fighters. Well two impressive fighters, a magician, a mechanic, and some guy who was fast fuck. Despite that, he believed in them.

Maddie had been fighting, she was even holding her own against two grown boys. That was mainly because one of them was commentating their fight while K attacked her. Well at least K pretended to attack her, he kept glancing back at the fight between Zoe and Amy/Kronous/Whatever/Whoever the fuck. Despite him being so distracted, she never even cut him with her dagger. She tried to shoot him with an arrow but he dodged it quickly, there was a cut across her lip from his knife, dripping blood into her mouth.
