Cassidy was crossing the line between mist manipulation and pure magic. She didn't know how this was possible, but she knew she stole someone's spellbook before she left. The book was old and barely comprehensible, it was written in the most ancient form of Greek, the pages were browning.
Still at camp, Cassidy put the leatherbound book in the only place it would go completely ignored: Cabin Nine. It wasn't that she was afraid of leaving to book to her siblings devises, but they didn't need to see those spells- not before her.
At some point it had become an obsession of some sort, the old book. While Maggy worked away in the forges, she read the book on the floor with Fizzy. She mouthed the spells, making sure not even the faintest whisper left her lips, now she spoke them through clenched teeth with the purpose of being heard.
She didn't notice much of the chaos around her. She knew Hadley and Sam were in front of her, keeping enemies away as she chanted. Just because she knew they were there didn't mean she really saw them, all she saw was herself, her words. More so, she saw her power. Her strength. Everything that was her's.
Her shoulders ached, but the pain was her's. Sweat dripped down her face, from her chin to her chest, but it was her's. Behind her the world screamed. The cry vibrated through her bones. The daylight behind her was a scar of bright light. She didn't need to look to know it worked.
Now her job was simple, all she had to do was hold on. She would hold on. Cassidy Jones held on to who she was- a fucking traitor.

Stupidity was far below the son of Athena. Issac knew this, still he drew Kronos away from Zoe in the silliest way possible. He threw his sword. He threw his fucking sword like a dumbass. That didn't matter as Dani's gold eyes fell on him, "Goddess of wisdom, huh?" Kronos smirked at him, a smirk that looked wrong on Dani's face.
He shrugged, still wondering how in the world he would get to his sword, "Yeah. Titan with time control?"
He snarled, "I am the Titan lord, boy."
"Oh," he looked down, "You're in the body of a fourteen year old girl with punch you in the face blue hair."
"She's nineteen!" His nostrils flared.
"Her body is fourteen and both of her achilles tendons have been slashed," he titled his head, "What happened to Amy?"
His gold eyes seemed to glow with anger, "The spy severed our connection."
"Oh," he crossed his arms over his chest- a rookie mistake, but that didn't matter. Issac was playing a part. "So what are you two now, star crossed lovers?" The part he played reminded him very much of his best friend, who was now reunited with Zoe. At one point, they'd need to discuss when it was a good time to kiss and when you should fight. Andy seemed to have trouble differentiating those times. It was either romantic or idiotic, he couldn't decide.
"I know you can fight," Kronos grabbed his sword and threw it to him, "So stop talking."
He caught his sword with one hand and flipped it, that was easier than I thought it'd be. "Okay, great grandpa! Come at me!"
"Don't call me that."
"Okay, little Titan wannabe," he smirked. "Like I said, come. At. Me."
He did- whoopsie. Issac was ready for him, but the sheer speed he moved in was impressive. Issac ducked the first swing of a fist and sidestepped the impact of his sword. He swung his sword and pared hits.
