Chapter 25

The ball had to come to an end at one time and Alden took Amauri to his room followed by Tyon. Earl wanted to carry Amauri to his room but of course no one had the right to carry him apart from his mommy. Once in the room Earl helped Alden prepare Amauri for bed and Alden carried him to the bed. Amauri was so tired that he didn't wake up once but he would have immediately opened his eyes if someone else had lifted him.

Amauri in bed, Alden sat down, exhausted. He didn't have the energy to wash himself and to change and just wanted to sleep. Seeing him like this Tyon kneeled down in front of the bed and took off Alden's shoes.

"Thank you.

-Do you want more help?"

Alden really liked the idea of being changed without having to move a muscle and seeing him all sleepy Tyon laughed.

"You are adorable."

Alden didn't even have the energy to say anything and Tyon went to grab a bassin with warm water and a towel before coming back to the bed and gently washing Alden's feet. When the towel touched Alden's foot plant, Andel started laughing and tried pulling his leg away but Tyon was stronger than expected.

"Sorry, it tickles."

Tyon just smiled.

"I'll be more gentle."

Alden did his best not to move but couldn't stop laughing. This woke him up a bit and he just realized that the Duke was washing his feet. He immediately felt ashamed and told Tyon to stop:

"Am I disturbing you?

-No but...

-Do you want me to continue then?

-I... It's weird.

-What is?

-You are the Duke.You can't wash my feet.

-I want to.

-Why?"

Alden finished Tyon's sentence before him:

"Because I am Amauri's mommy?

-Yes."

Alden signed.

"And will you wash all of my body?

-If you want to."

Alden blushed for some reason.

"It's okay. I'll do it.

-Are you going to walk on the feet I just washed?"

Alden frowned.

"It's your fault. Why would you start by the feet?"

Tyon smiled:

"I'll remember for next time.

-Why would there be a next time? Do you like washing me that much?"

Tyon blushed thinking about washing Alden's whole body. He would love that. More than anything.

"I'll go wash up."

When Alden came back, Tyon was ready too and Amauri had woken up because his mommy left. Alden immediately climbed into bed and hugged Amauri who fell asleep right away. Alden too started feeling sleepy and his eyes started closing slowly. Seeing him all cute, Tyon laughed again before laying down next to them.

The next day was Amauri's birthday celebration and Alden had planned everything to make this the best day of his life. The day started with Alden waking Amauri by kissing him softly. Amauri loved it and hugged his mommy, already overjoyed. Tyon was already feeling jealous and didn't hold back:

"I want this too."

Alden laughed:

"It is not your birthday."

Tyon raised his eyebrows:

"Will you do it if it is my birthday?"

Alden frowned but Amauri answered before him:

"Mommy only kisses me!

-Mommy kissed me two times too."

Alden rolled his eyes.

"Stop acting like a child."

Alden helped Amauri get ready and they went for breakfast before going to ice skate. Amauri never skated before and he was too electrified to know where to start. Amauri was surprisingly good at skating despite being his first time and Alden complimented him all the time making him exhilarated. He did harder and harder figures learning how to from a teacher and was focusing on impressing his mommy.

Alden was good at skating without being amazing but Tyon was having a hard time. He couldn't let go of the ramp and Alden laughed before deciding to help him. He grabbed his hands and helped Tyon skate around. Amauri wasn't happy that his mommy wasn't focusing on him and seeing him all jealous, Tyon smiled evily. Amauri understood at that moment that his dad knew how to skate and didn't need help but just wanted time with his mommy which made his blood boil.

Back to Tyon, Alden was skating backwards to help Tyon stand and wasn't really paying attention to where he was going. It was quite hard skating backwards and Alden lost his balance because he had been too confident about his skills. Tyon immediately wrapped his waist with his arm and this made them lose balance together and fall all together. Tyon made them turn and he fell first while Alden fell on his chest without getting hurt. Being on the ground a lot of servants came to help them and Amauri too rushed to see if his mommy was okay. Alden didn't get up immediately and he just started laughing. Still laying on Tyon, Alden was really close to him and continued laughing. Seeing him this happy, Tyon felt subjugated. He forgot how to use his body for a moment and only stared at Alden as if bewildered.

After the skating, Alden took his family to a great restaurant and ordered everything Amauri loved. Despite this, Amauri and Tyon still behaved the same way as at home and wanted Alden to taste everything before them and tell them what he thought. Alden was starting to get full and his family panicked again:

"Mommy you didn't taste this!

-This is good too."

After this long lunch, Alden almost couldn't move and Tyon proposed to carry him but Alden declined. The next stop was the Zoo, which was Amauri's favorite place and they went to all the shows there. At 4 p.m. Alden took out a cake he backed himself for Amauri's birthday and his little family seemed way too impressed by what it was. They ate every crumb and couldn't stop complimenting Alden. They stayed until the very end and Alden bought Amauri a lion plushie before leaving. For dinner they went to another restaurant and once again everyone fed Alden for hours.

To finish off this perfect day, the parents took Amauri to a play and hearing this Amauri had eyes full of tears.

"This is the best day of my life."

Alden felt so touched he also almost started crying and seeing that both Amauri and Tyon hugged him. Alden didn't like looking vulnerable and started fidgeting.

"Everything is fine. Let's go."

As usual when they went somewhere, everyone stared at the little family. People didn't stop talking about them but now people were focusing on Alden and Tyon's wedding instead of Amauri. Alden didn't really think of the wedding following that conversation and didn't want to because he had a weird feeling when he did.

After the play, Amauri thanked Alden again and again for the perfect day he had and couldn't stop singing the music from the play for hours. Amauri was way too excited to sleep and Alden brought him to the treehouse to watch the stars before going to bed. They had a new member in their bed who was the lion plushie who at first Tyon didn't want Amauri to bring. The truth was that he didn't want something to seclude him even more from his family. But of course Alden said that Amauri could sleep with the plushie and no one dared question his word.
