I kissed him back as he slipped his tongue in my mouth and I started feeling the hem of his shirt. His hand was going up my shirt, starting to fiddle with my bra and I didn't mind. I slipped my hand in his shirt and up his chiseled body. His hand slithered by my back and unclasped my bra before his fingers went to my breasts. I started pulling at his shirt.

This time he was the one to break it off.

"We seriously need to stop this," Adam said.

"I know," I answered quietly. "I'm not trying to do it."

"Well, now that the song's officially done being written, we don't have to be alone together anymore. So it won't happen again, right? And no one needs to know, right?"

I nodded. "No one needs to know."

"Okay," he sighed.

"I should go," I said awkwardly.

"Yeah," he said.

I clasped my bra again before I left with a quiet goodbye and tried to get my mind off of what had just happened (again) as I drove home.

"Are you okay?" Bobby asked three days later when Ness was napping and Lucas was calming down with a movie.

"Yeah," I said. "Why?"

"You just seem.... distant these past few days," Bobby answered.

"Just a little tired," I said.

"Okay," he said and kissed the top of my head.

Guilt was eating away at me. It had been for three days straight, but I'd been ignoring it. I needed to tell him, but my agreement with Adam stuck in my head.

No one needs to know.

No one needs to know.

"Bobby," I said.

"Hm?"

"I need to tell you something."

"Oh...kay," he said, turning his full attention to me.

Tears sprang to my eyes as I knew he'd be really mad at me.

"What's wrong?" he asked.

"I was stupid," I said.

"No, honey what happened?"

"I.... I can't tell you," I said.

"Yes you can. You can tell me anything," he said. "I love you."

"I can't tell you," I said and shook my head. "You'll be so mad at me."

"Say it," he urged.

"I kissed Adam," I blurted out.

"What?"

Lucas was right in front of us, there was no way we'd break out in a fight. I was safe, right?

"We were writing and we got caught up and he kissed me and I kissed him back for like a split second and then I stopped it," I said. "I'm sorry."

"Honey, it's fine. It was one slip-up," the memory of Adam saying that popped into my mind and I felt guilty. "It was bound to happen at some point in our marriage. It was just a kiss."

"You aren't mad?" I whispered.

"Not a little bit," he replied.

"Well, have you kissed anyone then? It was bound to happen, right?"

"No," he said. "Trust me, it'd be all over magazines because I'm either with you or I'm somewhere else where people are obsessed with getting some type of drama on our relationship."
