Chapter 10

Zenitsu's POV:

I woke up feeling refreshed, I just got so many hours of sleep I didn't realize that people needed that much.

As I sat up I felt something warm next to me. "Gramps, did you climb into my bed again..? Was it the nightmare where the gingerbread men were chasing you? Or the one with the magical beans?"

I looked to my left and screamed. What was Tanjiro doing in my bed-

Wait.

WHAT WAS I DOING IN TANJIRO'S BED??!!?!?

Tanjiro began to scream too, which made me scream harder.

Tanjiros little brother started to scream too, then Nezuko began to screech.

There was a series of thuds then the door swung open, Hanako and Shigeru ran in bearing Wii remotes as weapons. Also screaming.

Tanjiro looked around frightenedly. "WHATS GOING ON???? IS SOMEONE DYING???"

I fell out of Tanjiros bed, still screaming and landed with a thud.

Takeo jumped down his ladder carefully. He runs over to Nezuko and jumps in her bed.

As the screams died down everyone just kinda looked at eachother. Nezuko looked the most calm and sighed.

Then Rotuka waddled in, "Are we having a party? Who's birthday is it?"

"No we are not." Nezuko said. "Nothing is wrong."

Takeo frowned and said. "Oh no! We missed our extra hour of sleep! Now we only have twelve hours instead of thirteen!!"

Thirteen hours? I was asleep for twelve hours??! No wonder I feel so refreshed! I sat up in a daze. "Soooooo...."

"Hey, Takeo, can you take the others downstairs for a second?"

"Yes, sister!" They all joined hands and skipped away.

"Tanjiro???" Nezuko questioned, suspiciously.

"Yeeessss?" Tanjiro said slowly, he looked like he knew something was up. Then I realized that was the first time I heard Nezuko call him by his name.

"May I please ask. Why. Zenitsu. Was-?"

"Woahahahah!" Tanjiro yelped. "I need to go make breakfast!!"

Nezuko jumped up and slammed the door. "Why was Zenitsu there? And why did he wake up screaming?"

"Well, you see, it's a funny story!" Tanjiro forced a laugh, "Zenitsu, tell her!"

"DON'T DRAG ME INTO THIS!!"

"YOU WERE THE ONE WHO TOLD ME THE FUNNY STORY!!!"

Then it all came rushing back. Uh oh. Why did I do that? "Oh... yes.... that story. Well, Nezuko in the middle of the night you stepped on me-"

"So now it's my fault?"

"Yes and no!" I laughed nervously. "I bet you're  not used to someone sleeping on your carpet!"
