Tanjiro's POV:

That was a very scary movie last night, I hope Zenitsu got home alright and that Inosuke didn't torture him too much.

Once I got at school I saw Inosuke and waved him over. "Hi!"

"Hey," He replied.

"Where's Zenitsu?" I asked.

"Why do you wanna know?"

"Because he was really scared last night, and I want to see if he's okay!"

"Hmph." Inosuke didn't respond.

I didn't see Zenitsu for a couple classes. I was getting really concerned.

So when it came to science I hung around after class and asked Zenitsu's grandfather about him.

"Oh, he's feeling bad today so he's home today."

"Oh no! Is he sick? Did he get hurt?"

"No. I think it was just that scary movie."

Inosuke nodded. "Yup, it must've been the movie, nothing else happened."

That was a kind of suspicious comment... but I ignored it.

During lunch I texted Zenitsu.

12:20 p.m.

Tanjiro 💚 :

Zenitsu!

Are you okay?

I know the movie was really
scary last night, if you need
anything I'm right here.

Zenitsu 💛 :

Hi Tanj

I'm perfectly fine,
thanks for asking

Tanjiro 💚 :

Oh.

Then why aren't you at school?

Zenitsu 💛 :

Oh yeah that...

I was just tired

Tanjiro 💚 :

So, are you coming in late then?

Zenitsu 💛 :

No I'll be there tomorrow

Tanjiro 💚 :

Aw okay.

See you soon.

And Inosuke says bye.

Huh... he read it but no reply. I'll just tell Inosuke he says bye anyways.

But I couldn't tell Inosuke anything because he had been peering over my shoulder.
