Hoseok pov
It's been 2 weeks since Minseo joined the class and when I told the members about her love for dance they got very curious and wanted to meet her but of course our hectic schedule did not allow it, none of them had time to come to meet her so far.
Today, however, Jungkook happened to be free and came with me, it was common for him to join me during one of the classes and teach the kids but this time he was here to see the girl rather than teaching.
"Woah, hyung, her car seems so expensive, why is she coming here when she can pay for more premium classes?" Jungkook gaped as he saw Minseo getting down from her car. I hum in thought "I thought the same and it doesn't seem like she is here as a fan too, she seems genuinely interested in dancing," I said.
The batch I was teaching now was ending, they were all packing their things and 15 more minutes were left for the next batch, Minseo as usual was early since she came here directly from her school. She went to the small changing room as soon as she entered and appears within a few minutes all dressed for the practice while I and Kookie were on the floor, taking a rest before the next batch.
"Good evening, seonsaengnim," she greeted cheerfully, as I sat up and Kookie sat up with me. Her eyes widened in surprise seeing him before she bowed, "Good evening."
"Hi! So you are Minseo who hyung keeps talking about nonstop, I see," he offers his wide bunny smile in greeting, her eyes widened and she looked at me, "he tells me you are great at dancing, let me see what you got Minseo-shi," he said, with a challenging look in his eyes.
I saw Minseo tense a bit before her face morphed into a confident one, "I am sure I would live up to my teacher's words," she beamed. "Great, show me what hyung taught you in his last class," he said, getting up, Minseo nodded before she started warming up and then looked at me, telling me to play the song.
The song started and she took a deep breath before she started following the beat, letting the music guide her body. The way she moves her body to the song, they way she dances reminds me so much of Soomin. It was always group sessions so I never got to see her dance individually and only now did I notice the similarities.
My breath hitched when I saw Soomin in her for a second when she did that spin.
I was snapped out of my thoughts when Jungkook clapped, "that was amazing, Minseo-ah, I am glad I came with hyung here today," Minseo blushed at the compliment before she bowed and thanked him.
The class soon started and it went on smoothly, it was less tiring than usual with Jungkook here today. Once it ended Minseo was waiting for her driver as I and Jungkook were getting ready to leave.
"She's waiting for her driver?" Jungkook asked, I nodded, "she reminds me of Soomin noona, she was also rich like her but never showed it off, she would also go around everywhere with her driver," Kookie smiled, he liked her so much, Soomin always treated him like a baby which he always complained about but secretly liked. "She does, I just wish she doesn't have the same type of mother that Soomin had," I sighed.
"She wasn't that bad, she only tried to make noona study well," Jungkook told, looking at me with his big doe eyes, I chuckled, ruffling his hair which made him groan, "you are too innocent to understand kookie."
Jungkook doesn't really know much about Soomin's family, she used to tell me everything that happened with her mother but she would always say that's just her way of keeping her daughter on the right track.
"Seonsaengnim, I am leaving," I heard Minseo say as she exists the place, I told her to inform me before leaving, I follow behind and bid her goodbye.
After reaching home, I took a shower before having dinner. Jin hyung was with me at the table, even though he already had dinner, he was sitting to give me company. "Hobi hyung!" I choked on my food, startled from Jimin sudden yelling. Jin hyung was immediately by my side, patting my back and giving me a glass of water to drink. He smacked the back of Jimin's head when he entered the dining room but Jimin ignored him all together and looked at me with furious eyes, he thinks he looks scary but god! He looked so cute. I tried to not laugh as he continued glaring at me.
"You took that copycat with you to meet Minseo but didn't take me?" he said loudly, "he was free and he came with me, you were busy this evening Jimin-ah," I answered, my lips twitching to let out a laugh. He huffed out before stomping out of the room, "I am coming with you soon, hyung! I will meet her too, you hear me!" I know he was pouting while saying this.
Jin hyung sighed beside me, "god! I am never having kids, taking care of you 6 these 10 years are enough," I laughed at that before I continued eating. "I am also curious about this girl, I want to see her. Kook said she was a great dancer when he came back," he said after a few minutes.
"She is, Jungkook challenged her to impress him and she did, you should have seen her dance hyung. When she dances it's like, it's just her and the music....and you know everyone has their way of moving to the music...hers is so identical to Soomin, I saw her in Minseo today, maybe if we were still together we would have had a daughter like her, just imagine hyung, a little Soomin, running around, that-" my rambling was cut off by hyung.
"It would have happened if you hadn't broken up with her Hoseok, and I am sure the reason you have is a stupid one 'cause seeing how much you still love her, whatever it was, you could have overcome it with her, you would have been fine and together," he wasn't scolding neither pitying me, he had a sad look in his eyes as he spoke.
I sighed, "but I wasn't able to be selfish that time hyung, it wasn't just about me, it was about-" I cut myself off before I could say anymore, "I will go to sleep hyung," I said getting up and leaving the table. No one knew why I did that and I wanted it to stay that way, I didn't want anyone to blame themselves for my break-up.
I know everyone I care about is happy right now and that's all that matters to me, I will be ok spending my life with all those sweet memories I had with Soomin.
Why did he break up?🥺
