Feb 2023 (a year after the proposal)
"It feels great to call you my wife," Hoseok whispered, placing kisses along my shoulder.
"Yeah? You have been calling me your wife for 4 months now though we have been married only for 3 weeks," I chuckled, turning around in his arms.
"You really are my wife now, Minnie!" he exclaimed, pulling me as close as possible.
It was late morning when we finally woke up and since we were both tired, we didn't want to leave our bed.
Hoseok had moved in with us last year after the BTS dorm contract had come to an end. We had two options, to either move into his apartment or him moving into my place with me, Minseo and my father (though my father barely was here, he wanted to travel the world and take time for himself which he wasn't able to do all these years). In the end, we decided on my place since it was closer for both of our workplaces and also Minseo's school.
We got married 3 weeks back and as soon as the reception ended, we were on our flight for our honeymoon. We reached home last night and as soon as we were showered, we hit the bed, too tired to do anything else.
Minseo was with our friends who took turns looking after her and she was supposed to be dropped off by one of them in the afternoon today. We both were worried about leaving her alone for 3 weeks, but we did know we needed some time for ourselves as a newly wedded couple and our friends were happy to look after her.
"I am hungry," I said, snuggling closer, "then we have to get out of bed," he snickered, "but you only keep hugging me tighter."
"Are you complaining, Hoseok?" I looked up at him, raising an eyebrow.
"Of course not, I will rather starve myself than getting away from you," he said with a very serious look on his face.
"You are so dramatic, let's get up," I said but we got out of bed only after an hour.
Showering and cooking something felt like a very big task because of how tired we were, but after getting food in our system, we felt much better.
"I wish we had one more week away from reality," Hoseok sighed when we were sitting on the couch and watching a movie, "but I also miss Minseo so much," to which I agreed.
When we were away, we didn't miss calling Minseo every day despite the difference in the time zone. We also talked a lot about our future plans and kids. Hoseok brought up about having another kid on our wedding day and we decided to take some time before that, maybe another year.
It was close to 2 pm when the doorbell rang. It was Hyejin who had come to drop off Minseo.
"Eomma!" MinSeo ran and wrapped her arms around me. "I missed you, dear," I said, leaning down to kiss the top of her head.
"Woah, I see the favouritism here," Hoseok joked and Minseo was on Hoseok the next moment, "I missed you too, Appa," she mumbled.
"My baby," he lifted her up and spun her around before putting her down. Even though she is half his height now, he was able to lift her up.
I turned to Hyejin who just parked her car and was walking in. "Eunnie, thank you for taking care of her," I said, smiling at her in gratitude, "no need for all this," she waved it off, "she stayed at our place only for the last 3 days and we had so much fun, after school she spent most of her time at Hybe with the maknae line."
"Of course, she would have had so much fun dancing with them," I chuckled as we all walked in, "yes, eomma! We had so much fun! Almost every evening I spent at Hybe the last 3 weeks! I am pretty sure I wouldn't have this much fun even if I joined you both on your vacation!" Minseo exclaimed happily, her face breaking out into a very big grin just like her father's.
