"Hyung, She hasn't been coming for the past 2 days, she has never missed a class in all these months, and her phone is switched off. I am worried," Hoseok ranted out to Yoongi who looked at him with a calm expression. "Maybe she is busy with something, Hobah," the elder tried to reason, "But she would have told me, And why would her phone be switched off?"
"Maybe she is not feeling well or something, stop fussing over her, she is just a student," Yoongi said, his voice underlying something Hoseok wasn't quite sure about. "I don't know hyung, I just find myself more protective of her. She is different from me than other students...feel like always being there for her, supporting her and lend her a shoulder to cry on. The day when she told me about how difficult it was for her to not have a father, I wanted to tell her that she has me. I could do anything for her, I practically think of her as my kid already, but I know I can't tell her that....at least not yet"Hoseok vented out this thought for the first time, he knew it wasn't common to feel this attached to someone else's kid.
Yoongi understood Hoseok's fatherly instinct, after all he knew the truth that Minseo is Hoseok's daughter. That day when all of them met Minseo, when Yoongi confirmed that Minseo knew his best friend Nabi, he already doubted Minseo's mother being Soomin. After that he had confronted Nabi, and what he suspected turned out to be right, she was Soomin and Hoseok's daughter.
"Hyung, could you please ask Nabi Noona? Maybe she knows, please hyung?" Hoseok pleaded, Yoongi hesitantly nodded his head, "thank you, hyung" Hoseok threw his arms around the elder, with a relieved smile on his face.

Nabi spots Soomin's father in the living room as she entered the mansion. It was a weekend, so she expected Minseo and Soomin and be home. The old man smiled at her when he saw her, "Nabi-ah, what a surprise!" he exclaimed, and placed the book he was reading on the table beside him and asked her to sit next to him. "I come here all the time, abeoji," she chuckled, making him let out a soft laugh with her. "Where are they both?" Nabi asked.
His smile fell from his face, "Minseo was going to Dance classes without telling any of us, Soomin found out three days back and ever since then they haven't been talking to each other," the old man let out a sigh. "Soomin is angry that Minseo hid it from her and Minseo is upset that Soomin isn't letting her go to the classes. Soomin is even dropping her off and picking her up these past few days, despite that they haven't been talking to each other. I've never seen them like this before, they always made up."
"Did you try talking to them?"
"I did, both of them are not ready to hear me out, Minseo locks herself in her room when she is home and Soomin literally stays at her office other than the time she has to pick and drop Minseo,"
Nabi didn't know it was this serious, She did know about Minseo going to the classes from Yoongi, but hadn't told Soomin about it. And because she had been busy these days she hadn't been able to talk to Soomin so she didn't know about any of this.
Nabi decided to talk to Minseo first and walked up to her room. She knocked once before entering the room. Minseo was by her study desk, studying. She turned around when she heard the door open. It was very clear that Minseo was upset by how downcast she looked. "Are you also here to tell me what I did was wrong and should apologise to eomma?" she asked. "No," Nabi let out a light laugh "seems like you have been hearing it a lot."
"I know what I did was wrong, Imo, but what she did is also wrong. She yelled at me for what I did and didn't even bother understanding why I did it. It's not like I enjoy hiding things from her" she complained. "I didn't come here to be a mediator between you and your mother, I don't want to be a part of this. I already knew you were going to the classes, but decided against telling it to her because I knew how she would react."
"You knew?" the little girl asked with wide eyes, "yeah, Yoongi asked me about you and I got to know about this, but, now I am here because of Hoseok, he is very worried about you," Nabi said, to which the little girl's face fell even more. "I miss him," she pouted, "you like spending time with him?" the elder asked. "Yeah, he is very sweet, he always took very good care of me and was a very great teacher too... I sometimes wish he was my father," Minseo mumbled under her breath, making Nabi smile.
"I will give him a call now, will you tell him you are just not feeling well and will come once you get better? And promise me you won't tell about this to Soomin," Nabi said. Minseo's eyes lit up at this as she eagerly nodded. When Hoseok heard Minseo's voice, he fired her with a number of questions which she answered one by one. She told him she wasn't keeping well and will come back to classes when her health gets better. Hoseok convinced by that asked her about her phone, she told him that she broke it and was waiting to get a new one.
"Take care, Minseo-ah, if there's anything you want, let Nabi know, she can tell me, ok?" he said, she accepted it but she knew that wasn't possible. Nabi won't be able to come here everyday for her to talk to Hoseok like this. All she could hope now was for her mother to understand her and let her continue her classes again.
I have never done an exam this bad in my life like today! I am so tired coz of studying so much this week but I can't take a rest for the next 3 months😭 I hate my clg😭🤬
Anyway how is this chapter? Do you think Yoongi will tell to Hoseok the truth? Or is Yoongi hiding this from him ok?
