"I am so proud of you, baby, this is the final round, give your best, ok?" Hoseok was talking to Minseo who was warming up. She won the last 2 rounds and now has to dance with 4 other participants. After winning the last two rounds, she seemed a bit confident and did not doubt herself as much as she did in the beginning.

"Show them what you got champ" he added, Minseo nodded and she took a deep breath. She hugged both of us before she went on stage. Hoseok had an arm wrapped around my shoulder casually as we stood back stage and watched her dance, we didn't sit with other audiences because Hoseok would easily be recognised and he wanted to only concentrate on his daughter and didn't need his fans distracting him, so he asked his manger to arrange a room here with a TV.

"I am so proud of our daughter," Hoseok whispered, and I felt the same. "I feel so bad for keeping her away from this all these years," I said, leaning my head on his shoulder as he tightened his hold on me. "It was difficult for you too, Minnie, don't blame yourself, look at her now, she is so happy and that's enough," he said, softly rubbing his hands up and down my arms.

Being close to him feels so right and these days soft little touches like patting my head, wrapping his arms around my shoulder, or me wrapping my arms around his waist just happens so naturally. Neither of us were bothered by it, his touch brings me peace that wasn't there all these years.

When Minseo got the second place, Hoseok jumped around like a little kid before pulling me into his embrace, "our daughter did it," he grinned, "you were a great teacher," I said, cupping his cheeks and grinning back at him. At that moment time almost stilled as I held my breath looking at this man, now I realise what his mother told me that day, he still looks at me like he used to, making my heart melt.

"Eomma! Appa! I did it!" Minseo came running, snapping us out of our dazed state, "I knew you had it in you, baby, we are so happy for you," I said, as Hoseok picked her up in his arms. He asked one of his guards to take a picture of us. Minseo had the trophy in her hand grinning wide while Hoseok held her in one hand and wrapped his other arm around my waist and pulled me closer which led me to put my arms around him and my head to land on his chest.

The next day

"For god's sake, give me a heads up before dropping a bomb like this! That day it was Taehyung and Ara and now you guys?" Hyejin scolded us, as me and Hoseok hung our heads low.

Early in the morning I received a call from Hoseok's boss, telling me to come and meet her as soon as possible. When I reached the building, Hoseok was there too. As soon as we entered the office, she started scolding us.

"The PR team has been getting calls all night, they didn't get a wink of sleep last night, you both were spotted with Minseo last night at the competition and then someone spread the photo and it's all over social media now," she sighed as she slumped back in her chair.

She took the tablet that lay on her desk and slides it towards us. It was taken when we were taking photos after Minseo won, from the right side. "The only way out is to confirm the truth, it's so obvious it's both of you, the face is so clear and we can't claim you are friends as your fans already caught on with the news that you declined being the judge telling that one of your relatives is a participant and we can't even you guys are cousins or something, no one will buy it. Just look at the way you are holding onto each other."

I felt my face heating up at that, "I am sorry, noona," Hoseok mumbled, "what should we do now?" he asked.

"You both should either tell you both have been dating ever since you were a trainee and you guys have a daughter or just let this die down which isn't going to happen for the next few weeks. You are both public figures holding big places in society, so the media would be following you both around until they get answers," she explained.

Hoseok looked at me, which meant that the decision was up to me and he was ok with both. "Let's go with the first one, anyway one day they will come to know about Minseo," I shrugged.

"Ok then, I will let the PR team know, they will release an article telling that you both are in a relationship and have a daughter. There may be negative comments about having a child out of wedlock but we don't really have another option, and Hoseok, after the article is released I suggest you go live, your fans might take it well if it comes from you," she suggested to which he agreed. "God, you people haven't even started dating! And Taehyung and Ara too! Those two idiots tell they are still friends but posted that sexy picture like they are a couple and caused a ruckus. You should all make an example out of Yoongi and Nabi, those two are dating but never caused a single scandal," she groaned and sank into her seat.

"They both have been together for years, noona, so even when they go on dates people think they are hanging out as friends," Hoseok chuckled, as Hyejin let out a sigh, "just be careful from now on," she said. Hoseok nodded before we both bowed and left the room.

"I am sorry that we have to lie about our relationship, in the future when you start dating someone else, I will make them release an article that I broke up with you, don't worry," he said, and god, the look on his face when he said that, It was evident that he didn't like the idea of me being with someone else. I let out a chuckle and shook my head as he looked at me confused.

"why are you laughing?" he asked.

I waved my hand, "nothing, anyway we should now appoint a bodyguard for Minseo in school, just to look after her from afar," I said, "yeah, I will take care of that," he nodded.

Give me motivation to study😭 I don't even have 20 days for my exam but I am not prepared for it at all😭 I feel so bured out after reading for all these months that I can't study anymore but I can't take rest also😭

I am sorry but I guess I have to take another break until the exam gets over, within July 1st week, I will start posting again, I am really sorry again for taking another break🥺🤍
