"Wow, Finn, this place is amazing." Quinn noted as she and Finn sat down to dinner.

"I kinda got us a hotel room." Finn added. "For after."

"After." Quinn repeated with a smirk. "I like the sound of that."

"I don't know if it's the new award, but I like whatever's gotten into you." Finn noted.

"Part of it is the award, but it's also Beth and you and our future." Quinn said.

"Yeah, speaking of our future, I've been thinking about it a lot lately." Finn told Quinn. "And about our conversations about marriage."

Quinn nodded slowly.

"I think we're ready." Finn went on as he got up.

"Finn." Quinn stopped him. "Wait."

Finn frowned and looked at Quinn.

"I love you." Quinn began. "And I wanna be with you and I wanna marry you, but I know what this is about."

"This is about us being in love and knowing that we're gonna spend the rest of our lives together." Finn insisted as he took his seat.

"It is, but part of it is also about you." Quinn noted. "When you asked Rachel to marry you, it was because you were scared about the future. And I think you're scared now."

"What makes you say that?" Finn asked.

"Are you afraid that I'll meet someone else, through work or something, and I'll move on without you?" Quinn guessed.

Finn didn't say anything.

"It's okay if you are." Quinn added. "If the roles were reversed, I'd be afraid, too. You're a lot to lose. I would know."

"You're a lot to lose, too." Finn told Quinn. "You're my best friend, and my first love."

"You're mine." Quinn smiled as she reached for Finn's hand. "But I'm not letting you ask me to marry you until you're really ready. And you'll have to clear it with Beth."

"Of course." Finn laughed lightly.

Quinn giggled as she squeezed Finn's hand. "I love you. Let's get some drinks and celebrate that, okay?"

"Okay."

Quinn woke up in the hotel bed curled up with Finn. She was sweating, and her head was pounding.

"Finn, wake up."

"I'm up." Finn replied. "I didn't wanna wake you up."

"I don't remember anything from last night." Quinn noted. "Do you?"

"No." Finn answered. "I don't even remember drinking so much."

"Me neither." Quinn said. "I'm gonna go shower and then I'm gonna call Santana to check on Beth."

"Okay." Finn muttered.

"Don't go back to sleep." Quinn added as she got out of bed and walked to the bathroom.

Quinn closed the bathroom door and grabbed a towel, placing it by the shower. She froze while she looked at it.

"Finn!"
