The weeks leading up to the wedding ceremony were busy and exhausting. Quinn was stretched too thin between dress fittings and alterations, Beth, overseeing wedding planning, and Finn adopting Beth. She felt like she had no time to herself or work.

"Hey." Finn said when Quinn entered the apartment.

"Hey." Quinn repeated, quickly greeting Finn with a kiss.

"Wait, where are you running off to?" Finn wondered.

"I'm not. Sorry." Quinn apologized. "I went to my dress fitting and I met with the lawyers again, so I wanted to come home and call my agent so I can get another job."

"Another job?" Finn repeated. "With everything going on, you should take a break."

"I need to work." Quinn insisted. "It keeps me sane in all the chaos."

Finn raised his eyebrow.

"You and Beth are my family and I love you both so much, but I need to work." Quinn repeated. "I love what I do, and even on the long days, I need it."

"We're getting married in, like, two weeks." Finn reminded Quinn. "You'll get something after that."

Quinn looked at Finn.

"Besides, I kinda wanted to slow down these next two weeks." Finn added.

"Slow down?" Quinn raised her eyebrow and laughed lightly. "Do you know how much has to get done?"

"That's why we asked Kurt and our moms to help us." Finn reminded Quinn. "We just need to focus on each other and Beth."

"You're right." Quinn realized. "It's just hard."

"Because you're not used to it." Finn noted. "But I promise everything's gonna be okay."

"Okay." Quinn repeated.

"Did you write your vows yet?"

"No, did you?"

"Not yet."
