Lexi had a busy morning, after she had run scans and tests on Barnes, she had called Rhodes in, with his suit, running diagnostics. She had ideas on how to help them all individually and as a team. She needed to move fast, knowing that she was running out of time.

Checking that it was almost lunchtime, she had Jarvis check where the others were, and pulled open the bottom drawer of her desk. Inputting the code for the safe, she sighed and took out what she needed.

Opening the bottle, she drank it all down. The taste caused her to gag, but she swallowed it all. Taking a breath, she took out the cell, and pulled up the number. It rang twice before he answered.

'My dear Alexandria. It has been a while, have you missed me?'...

L: 'Its adorable that you think I would. I'm running out of time..'

She sighed, sitting back in her chair, as she felt the liquid burn through her.

'Ah, so you need something. Whatever it is, it's yours..'

L: 'I need to bring down Hydra, now. I've got weeks, if that..'

She heard him chuckle down the phone... 'You know how to stop it love, I don't see why you're punishing yourself over it..'

L: 'That will never be an option, and you know it. I'm not like you..'

'Oh, but you are. You are one of us. I saved your life love, and now you're throwing it away..'

L: 'Its my fucking life to do as I want. Look, I just need your help to bring them down. The team isn't ready, and I don't have much time left to get them into shape...'

'Why not tell them the truth? I'm sure they'll want to jump at the chance to help you..'

L: 'This isn't part of their world. They don't know, and I don't want them to know. Can you and the others be ready? When I have information about Hyrda, where they are and who is a part of them, I'll let you know. You can go wild and enjoy yourselves...'

Lexi scoffed, pinching the bridge of her nose.

'And what of the solider? Have you saved him?'..

L: 'I'm running simulations on how to break the control first. Once that's done, he'll have a new arm, and then I'll tell him everything..'

'He does not remember you?'..

L: 'No indication that he does. Those reports and footage, I've kept off the files..'

'You were a mess love, if I hadn't been close by, you would've been dead..'

L: 'You should've left me to, rather than do what you did..'

'If I had left you to die my dear, you wouldn't be there now to help them, help him. You know what you need to do Alexandria, you can stop it..'

She heard him sigh, knowing that he was pleading with her.

L: 'Please, will you be ready?..'

'For you love, of course. Any preferences as to who you want alive?'

L: 'I'll send the details of when and where. And profiles of who I want alive. There's a few others here, who deserve to get their justice..'
