Lexi heard the elevator open and the rest of the team walked out. Her and Eli had placed the food on the table, while Nicholas and Reyah set it.

'Hey sweetheart..'.. She felt arms come around her waist as she stood, and she leaned back into him, as though he was her comfort blanket... 'These your friends?'... Rogers asks her, as he kisses the side of her head.

'They are yes..'.. She pulled from him, and gestured for everyone to gather round. She made the introductions, and fought a smirk, seeing Wilsons eyes trail over Reyah... 'Now that we all know each others names, let's sit and eat..'

They all do as she says, and she sat one end of the table, with her guys sat either side of her... 'Ok, so Nicholas, please inform the team as much as you can about what we're are, and what your side of the plan is..'... She picked up her beer, drinking it, as Nicholas filled them in on everything.

There were questions, and from what she could read of the team, they were not scared to be sat here with 4 vampires. She could tell Romanoff was really turned on, and Wilson was fighting attraction to Reyah.

Nicholas told them about Hannah, and her guys instantly took each of her hands, to comfort her. She just nodded, not wanting to look at the pity from anyone there.

'As much as it pains me to say, but Nicholas..'.. She looked at him... 'Could you take care of Hannah? I can't bring myself to do it..'

'Of course love, none of us would expect you to. We'll morn her and Ryan after this is all over..'... He tells her. Lexi just nods, her emotions running wild.

'So, you uh, you said you had other 'friends'..'.. She looks up at Tony, seeing him hesitant to ask.

Lexi stood, and went to get another beer for her and her two... 'You think vampires are the only things to exist in this world?..'... She walks back to the table, seeing the three guests smirk as she sat down... 'Shapeshifters, werewolves, witches, demons, fairies... there's a whole list..'.. She passes a beer to each of her guys.

'Each state in the US, has a head of each. The heads form a state council, and they work together to keep the peace between them all. They also pass laws that us 'supernatural' beings, let's call it, that we have to adhere to. We protect ourselves, and humans...'... She took a large drink... 'There's more alien lifeforms on this planet than you realise..'.. Lexi chuckled.

'You think Thor and Loki are the first asgardians to come here? There's at least 1000 that now exist all over the world..'.. She sat back, looking around her team.

'Does Thor know?'... Rogers asks her, and she shakes her head.

'No. They don't want him to know. They like living here, a simple life. In Asgard, time moves differently. They don't want to live for thousands of years...'... She smiles at him.

'But-but, h-how are you all real?'... Banner asks, lolking around at the 4 beings.

'You are a man of science and facts Dr Banner, and I respect that. But all those myths, legends, bedtime stories you knew growing up, where do you think they came from? The bible tells you that the world was created by God, yet science proves it is older, than what the book states..'.. Eli says, smiling across to Banner.

'Tell me, you yourself are an anomaly, and have become something more. One of a kind. If someone had told you, before this change of yours, that it would happen, would you have believed them?'... Bruce thought over the mans words. True, if anyone told him that he would become a Hulk before it happened, he would've called them crazy.

'The world that you believe, to be inhabited by only humans, with the rare exception of people like yourselves, is more complex that what you know..'.. Reyah smirks, picking up her wine... 'There are a few of us, who are agents of SHILED, not just Lexi..'

Reyah, no. There's a reason why others just want a normal life. They try to find somewhere they can work, where their abilities don't stand out too much. As I said, I know it's a lot for you guys to take in, I get it. But I promise you, that you are all now under the protection of Nicholas and his coven..'.. She nodded to him.

'What does that mean?'... Wilson asks, frowing... 'You're not gonna make us like you, are you?'

Nicholas chuckles, looking at Wilson... 'No, as delightful as it would be, you are Alexandrias family, and she is ours. We protect our own. There are others, from different covens that owe their lives to her, who care about her. They will protect you too..'

'I'm coming to that meeting..'... She said, folding her arms.

'My dear, it is not wise to-..'.. Nicholas puts his hand up, stopping Eli.

'You know her as well as I do brother, she will go no matter what. At least this way, she will be in our care. Besides, I'd love to see what Silas reaction to seeing her again would be..'.. Nicholas sniggered, looking at Lexi... 'I doubt he will be able to stay on his feet..'

Reyah and Eli sniggered too, while the team looked confused. Lexi sighed... 'Silas assumed I would turn Hannah, after I became one of them. I gave him my word I wouldn't. After a lot of him threatening me, I had enough. He said he would chase me to the ends of the earth, to put me down, as Hannah was too much at risk. So I kicked his ass, and..'... She fought a smirk, as she looked around the team... 'I cut off his feet, and threw them at him. Told him to catch me if he could, I'd even give him a head start..'

Nicholas, Eli and Reyah burst out laughing, remembering that night. She felt some of her team shuffle uncomfortably, but the others were trying not to laugh.

'I am so crushing on you Adams..'.. Lexi winked at Romanoff.

'I'm glad you're on our side. I don't ever want to piss you off..'... Barton chuckled, picking up his glass.

'He reattached them didn't he? And they healed?'.... She asked her friends.

'They did, but he has a limp and can not run anymore. He uses a cane..'... Reyah tells her.

'He shouldn't have threatened me the way he did..'.. Lexi shrugged at them all.

'Ok, so, what's our part in all this?'... Stark asks her, bringing the conversation back to the reason they were there.

Lexi smiles, and rests her elbows on the table, tell them all what she had planned. What her team didn't know, was what she was really going to do. She had promised not to use her ability on them, but the others would. She needed to keep her team safe, no matter what, until Connor was gone.
