Forty-Eight

Lexi was plating up breakfast for everyone, hoping they would still remember her rules. She looked at the clock, knowing they only had a few minutes to join her, or she would go looking. Slicing up the fruit, the elevator opened, and Wilson walked out, looking thoroughly refreshed and perky. Lexi put down her knife, flitting over to him, and grabbing his chin.

Looking into his eyes, she scoffed, letting him go... 'Well, now I know where Reyah was last night..'.. She moved back to the kitchen, continuing her prep of the breakfast banquet she was doing.

Sam followed her over, fighting back a grin..  'I see what Nat was on about, she was amazing..'.. He grabbed a plate and began to fill it up, when a few more arrived. Lexi smiled, seeing them all there.

'Coffee is on, as is the kettle for tea. I've put out water and juice too..'.. She gestures to the counter behind her, noting that her men were the only ones missing from the team... 'Rhodes, Barton, how are you two feeling this morning?..'.. She asks, giving them both a smile.

'I'm still your favourite chew toy, right?..'... Barton nudges her as he passes, grabbing a plate. Lexi chuckled, scrunching her nose at him.

'You're not a chew toy..'.. She points her knife at him, and he winks at her.

'I feel really good. Uh, that was... unusual to experience..'.. Rhodes gives her a polite smile, and she nods at him, as he grabs a coffee.

'Stark, can you fill those two in please..'.. She gestures to Baron and Rhodes as they head to the table to sit down.

'What about Wilson?..'.. He asks with a mouthful of bacon.

'After our return last night, Reyah joined him in his room. I'm sure she has already told him..'.. Heads whipped around to Wilson, and he just shrugged, a proud smile on his face.

Lexi crooked a finger to Romanoff, letting her know she wanted a word. When it was just the two of them left in the kitchen, Lexi kept her voice low... 'They decided to play with each other last night, and not let me join in. They got me wound up, so want to help me tease them back?..'

Lexi saw the redhead smirk, that mischievous twinkle in her eyes, as she sipped her juice... 'What did you have in mind?..'

'Flirt, tease, touch. And then come to our room tonight, when I say. We'll give them a show, do to them what they did to me..'.. Lexi smirked, as the elevator doors opened, and her alpha and captain walked out, both in a sleepy state. She watched as they began to make their way over, and her eyes found Romanoffs.

Stepping closer to the woman, she slid her hand around Romanoffs waist, pulling her close... 'Mmm, you feel so good baby girl, I'd forgotten how sweet you taste..'.. She leaned in, and licked the womans lips, before slipping her hand from the waist to her ass and slapping it... 'Now, eat up, you're going to need your energy..'

Nat chuckled, knowing that both soldiers were behind her, she kissed Lexi on the cheek, and filled her plate, heading to the table to sit down. She noticed the others around the table were staring at her, over what they just saw. She winked to Barton, and he sniggered, knowing that they were just playing.

Lexi watched both her men stop in shock, and just held out a plate to each of them... 'Well, don't just stand there you two. Come on, it's breakfast time. It's the most important meal of the day..'... She said innocently.

Once they took the plates, she grabbed a coffee, and went to sit down with the others, making sure to sit across from Romaoff. She smirked the whole time, winking at Barton as he grinned at her. Settling into a seat, she takes a deep breath, looking around at them all.

'So, any questions this morning?..'.. She asked, sipping her coffee.

'Where did the others go?..'.. Tony asks her.

'Checking in with the other factions. After lasts nights attack, i asked them to make sure everyone was alright from the meeting. It would seem that Nicholas has been planning something for a while..'.. Her two men came, and sat either side of her. She could feel their irritation, and she fought hard not to smile.

'The high councils of every state met last night, with a unanimous decision. To name me the deam supra, means goddess above. They want me as their ruler, every faction in the country, will answer to me. Each state will still have a high council, but my word will be law..'.. She set her cup down, putting a hand on each leg, either side of her.

'Wait, back up a second..'.. Wilson leans forward on the table, to look at her... 'You will basically be what? Queen to all of them?..'

She chuckled, looking down the table at him... 'Basically, yeah. But I said I'd think about it, after I've dealt with Connor..'.. She looks down towards Happy and Pepper... 'You two still have to train, I'd rather you were safe than sor-..'

The elevator doors opened, and Lexi felt the air shift. She flitted from her seat and straight over to the man and woman. She knocked the woman out, and gripped the man by his throat, putting him to the floor. She could see it in his eyes, and shifted so she was on top of him, pulling his head to the side, she sunk her teeth in, and drank until he was unconscious.

Climbing off him, she crawled to the side, and began to throw up the tainted blood. She knew she would have to do the same for the woman, but right not she felt weak and sick. After a moment, she pulled in a ragged breath.

'Get them both to med bay, now. Tie her down, and don't listen to a damn word she says. They're under persuasion..'.. She shakily got to her feet, wiping her mouth with the back of her hand, as the others rushed over.

'What the fuck did you do?..'.. Stark asks her, seeing her look deathly ill, and then down to Fury and Hill on the floor.

Rogers picked up Fury, throwing him over his shoulder, while Barnes did the same with Hill. Banner, and the others rushed to go do what she said, and Lexi stumbled forward, Stark catching her.

'Connor, it was Connor..'.. She panted out, feeling as though she was going to faint... 'He got to them, and fed them his blood, I could taste it. They're under his control right now..'.. She felt the darkness take over, and collapsed to the floor.

Tony scooped her up, and headed into the elevator, down to the med bay with her. He didn't know what the hell just happened, but if those two were comprised, would anyone else be? He needed to talk with her friend Nicholas, just to be sure.
