Steve dropped forward, onto his knees, trying to catch his breath. One moment they were at the meeting, the next, they were back at the tower. His mind raced at what was going on in the video that was played. He turned, looking for Bucky, seeing him stumble to his feet, to the bin in the kitchen. He had ripped the lid off, and threw up.

'What the fuck happened?'... Steve tried to form any words to answer Tony, but he couldn't. His eyes were on Bucky, and he needed to get to him, to know if he was ok.

Nicholas felt his heart break for Lexi, knowing she was now alone in the chaos. His eyes were on the two soldiers as he answered... 'Silas. He taunted her, and then played a video, for the whole meeting to see..'.. He turned his gaze to Tony, giving him a look. He saw in the man's eyes, that he knew what video.

Tony felt sick to his stomach, and he rushed over to Barnes just as Rogers got to him... 'Romanoff, get him some water. Barnes, hey Barnes I need you to look at me..'.. He tried to force the soldier to turn his head, and eventually he did.

'It wasn't you. She's told you many times, the soldier is not you...'... Tony's eyes flicked to Rogers, seeing the pain in his eyes too.... 'It wasn't him Cap, he needs to know that..'

Steve took the glass of water from Nat, seeing it in her face, that she knew too. He looked to Bruce, Sam and Rhodey, they all knew. He was pissed, angry, hurt and fearful of what this would do to Bucky.

'Tell me, you did not leave her alone?'... Nicholas looked at his sister, seeing her angry.

'You know she is not alone. There are others who will protect her..'.. He raised his voice, stepping forward.

'No Nicholas, she's alone with Silas..'.. Everyone turns to Eli, as he stood there, lokking down at his phone in his hand. His head came up, looking at his brother... 'She flipped her switch, and threatened for everyone to leave. She's alone, we have to go back..'

'No..'.. Steve turned his head to Reyah, seeing her get upset, scared even... 'Tell me you're joking. She wouldn't do that, she-she wouldn't...'

Something in her tone, sent a wave of dread crashing through him, he stood, leaving Tony and Nat to take care of Bucky. He walked closer to the three vampires, seeing fear in each of their eyes.... 'Wouldn't do what? What do you mean, she flipped her switch?'

'Lamia Dea..'... Steve turned to Nicholas, seeing him close his eyes, and sigh... 'She has control over it. She will flip it back on, do not worry yourselves..'

'Did you just say Lamia Dea?..'... Reyah stepped forward, giving Nicholas a surprised look.

'Yes sister, you heard me correctly..'.. He stares at his sister... 'Alexandria is a Lamia Dea.'

Steve frowns between the two of them, seeing a slow smirk appear on Reyahs face... 'Oh, that is just..'.. She scoffs, clapping her hands together... 'That is perfect. Honestly, now that I think about it, I am not surprised..'

'Can you both just shut up for a moment, and fill the rest of us in..'... Steve raises his voice. He had enough of everything. His main concern was Bucky and how he was handling what they had seen.

Nicholas gestures for the others to sit, watching as the captain guides Barnes over to a couch. His mind wandered to Alexandria, and how she was. Only he knew the truth of her strength. The fact that she flipped her switch, he knew she would be going after Connor. Nicholas smirked, the man had no idea what he has unleashed in her.

'Ok, so what don't we know?'... Stark asks, sitting next to the lost soldier.

Nicholas sighed... 'Alexandria was on a mission, which she decided to do alone, instead of waiting for back up. She found a trail, leading to that warehouse, knowing it was used for Hydra. She was trying to just get evidence, to take back to her boss, when she was found. She didn't know, Connor was there. He heard and smelled her. At that time, she didn't know anything about our world..'

He dropped his head slightly... 'You do not see him in the footage, but you hear him..'

'He gave the order, didn't he? That was him?..'... Nat asks. She dreaded where this was going.

'Yes. After what happened, and I can assure you Barnes, the solider did not take part..'... His eyes fall on him, seeing that his head was hanging down, with Rogers and Stark trying to comfort him... 'They had beaten her, broke almost every bone in her body. They left her there. I was passing through the area, as we were looking for Connor ourselves. I could smell the blood. I found her there, she was trying to drag herself to a nearby gun, for which you can probably guess as to why..'

He looked up as his brother handed him a drink, and he took it with a nod... 'She begged me to kill her. I couldn't, there was something about her that was too pure, I couldn't bring myself to. So I fed her my blood, and she fought as hard as she could against it. She did eventually begin to heal, but I didn't see it coming. She moved to the gun, put it to her head and..'

Steve's heart shattered, and he was sure he heard Buckys break too. He fought back the tears, but lost that battle. He wiped his face with his free hand... 'What happened after?'

'She turned. I got her to feed, to complete her transition, but she swore she would never do that again, unless it was the men who hurt her. It didn't take long to explain our way of life to her, and that's when I saw it. Saw what she really was. Lamia Dea translates from Latin, as vampire goddess. She is the strongest, fastest of us all, and she has a gift. One which is amplified when she feeds..'... Nicholas finishes his drink, and looks at the empty glass in his hand.

'Whats her gift brother?'... He turns to look at Eli, and smirks.

'Power absorbtion...'.. Everyone turns, seeing her walk in. She was covered in blood, it dropped from her face, hands and clothes. She caught Rogers eye, and tilts her head... 'Hi honey, I'm home..'
