'I thought that you uh, you couldn't do sunlight..'.. Lexi chuckled slightly at his words.

'Everything you think you know, its all stories that were made up, so humans would believe it. Only things that can kill us, is decapitation, or having out hearts ripped out. Driving a stake through doesn't work..'... She gave him a wry smile.

'Does anyone else know? Fury?'... He asks, stepping closer.

'No, no one does. I was actually on a call earlier to my, 'maker' you could call him. Him and the others with him are ready to tear through Hydra, once I have enough intel. The can get it done in less than 5 minutes...'... She watches him, reading him.

'There's more like you?'... He sits on a stool, facing her.

She sighs and heads to a cupboard, pulling out glasses and a bottle of bourbon. Pouring them both a fair amount, she had him a glass, and sits on the edge of her desk... 'Yes. Majority are not bad. They actually just want to live normal lives as best they can. They do feed, but they get it from blood banks. They own a few around the country, around the world really. It's their way of protecting themselves, and humans..'

Tony cleared his glass in one... 'Out of all the things that were running through my mind, you being a vampire, was not one of them. Didn't think they actually exist..'

Lexi shook her head, smiling... 'Aliens, gods, super soldiers? Yeah, hard to believe that the things that go bump in the night are real, huh?'

Tony sighed, watching her... 'You don't drink human blood, why?'

'Because then I'd be harming someone. There are some like me, that once they taste it, its addictive, and they can't control themselves as the hunger takes over. I've actually had to help, to put them down. It's not easy Stark, but I'd never harm anyone, not like that..'.. She stood, putting her glass down and folding her arms... 'I don't have much time left, but I want to bring those fuckers down, more than anyone else, I showed you why. I told you Stark, if I thought for a second, Barnes was still the soldier, I would've killed him myself...'

Tony sighed, standing up. He hesitated but pulled her in for a hug... 'I'm sorry you went through all that..'

She steps back, giving him a small smile... 'The others are going to have to know now. Connor..'.. She scoffed... 'He's one of the worst. He had an obsession with me. Was determined to make me his pet, slave whatever you want to call it. A friend of mine created a spell, so that we could lock him away, and we did. Trying to kill him is futile, if you get to close, he'll literally rip you to shreds. So we sealed him a way in a mausoleum, back in Kansas. I don't know how he got out, but he did, and he's here in the city..'

She paced around the lab... 'He's viscious, cruel and can control people. It's one of our things, persuasion. We're strong, fast, heightened senses. Some can read minds, others can see certain events, like visions. We can heal really fast and our blood can heal certain human conditions, but if you die with our blood in your system, you wake up one of us, and you have to feed to complete the transition..'

She walked back over to her desk, pulling out the phone and the hard drive, handing it to Tony... 'I need to make a call, but everything you need to know is on that. Stark..'.. She looked into his eyes... 'I have never once used any of my abilities on you. The animal blood keeps them subdued. I promise you, I'd never do that to you...'
