Forty-One

Lexi had enough of her two men trying to stop her. She was on the brink of having to persuade them back to the bedroom, and fuck each other senseless, to the point they wouldn't even remember their own names, let alone what she was going to do.

'They're right love and you know it. You need protection. Let them come with us..'.. Lexi slowly turned to Nicholas, with her hands on her hips.

'You want to say that again, I don't think I heard you correctly..'.. She raised an eyebrow at him. She watched as he stepped close to her.

'You smell of them, and the council will know. You can say you claimed them as your mates, which is true. Them being near you, masks the smell that you have recently fed. If you were to feed again, strengthen yourself, having them with you, no one will be none the wiser. Especially if its true about Silas..'.. Nicholas tells her. She knew he was right, but she didn't want to put her guys in harms way. She looked between her three friends throwing her hands up.

'Mates are completely different that what me, my alpha and my Captain have. I would never treat them as such and you know it. If they come to the meeting, they will be killed, for the slightest indiscretion...'.. She looked to her men, shaking her head... 'No, they're not coming..'

'Whatever you need us to do Lex, we'll do it. We can play the act of being your, mates..'... Steve tells her, as he drops his arms, walking to stop in front of her.

'Oh, oh OK. You think you can do this, alright..'... She took a step back, folding her arms as she gave him a scowl... 'Hit me..'

'Wh-what? No, I'm not going to hit you Lex..'.. Steve steps back, frowning at her. She turned, scoffing out a laugh as she dropped her hands back to her hips.

'My point exactly..'.. She walks over to her alpha, and raises an eyebrow at him... 'Hit me..'... He backhanded her hard, and she was surprised. His heart rate remained steady, his body hummed with desire for her, and he showed no emotion in his face.

She grinned at him, and turned to her Captain... 'Now him, he can be believable. I love you Rogers, I do, but your pure heart, and need to be good, would get you, Barnes, and me killed. We don't have much time to teach you how to be. You can stay her-..'

'Persuade me..'.. He says, looking at her... 'You can do that, right? You can make me act like one..'.. He stepped forward, his thumb brushing against the redness of her cheek, as he looked into her eyes... 'Make me do, whatever you need me to do, but don't leave me behind..'

Lexi took a step back, shaking her head... 'No. No I won't make you do something I know you won't be comfortable with. I-I..'.. She looked around the room at the others, before her gaze landed back in Rogers... 'The one and only time I used my persuasion, I did it to make someone forget me. To this day, I still hate myself for doing it, but I had to, to protect someone I care about. I hated doing it, and I hate that you're asking me. I don't ever want to take a person's free will away, and make them do something I know is dangerous..'

Steve sighed, pulling her into a hug... 'I know, but I can't let you go without me Lex. Whatever happens at the meeting, I know whatever you have to do, is not really you. But I want to be there. I'm giving you permission in front of everyone here, to use it on me..'

Lexi took a deep breath, and stepped back. She shook her head, hating for what she would have to do. Gripping his chin, she looked into his eyes... 'You will do what I say, when I say it. You will not speak unless I give you permission. Your eyes will always be on me. You will remain calm and relaxed at all times. Should anyone lay a hand on me that isn't you or alpha, you will hurt them until I tell you to stop. If I tell you to leave, you will do so. When we leave this tower, you will address me as mistress Lexi. You will know that everything that will happen at the meeting does not show who I really am. When you step foot back in this tower, the persuasion will wear off. Do you understand?..'

Yes, I understand..'.. He says. Steve didn't feel any different, he looked around and shrugged. He watched as she turned to Bucky.

'You understand everything I just said?'... She asks.

Bucky smirks, walking over and dropping a kiss to her lips... 'Yes mistress Lexi. Pretty much go back to being winter soldier..'.. He saw something flash in her eyes at his words. If he didn't know any better, he could've sworn, he saw fear.

Lexi cleared her throat and turned to Reyah... 'The three of us need clothes. Do you mind going shopping?'... She saw Reyah smirk, before finishing her drink, and walking over.

'Is it really called shopping, when I just take what I want?'... She slapped Lexis ass as she passed... 'I'll be back shortly darling..'

Lexi pinched the bridge of her nose, before looking at her team. Her eyes stop on Barton... 'Don't ever think you're a chew toy. You're the reason I'm no longer dying right now. But, I do need to feed more. Silas is working for Connor and I know he will challenge me. Their..'.. She slaps the back of her hands to Barnes and Rogers chest... 'Tainted blood will stop anyone from knowing I've fed. I won't go longer than 30 seconds again, but it should be enough to let me keep up with him..'

'Use me Adams..'... She looked over at Wilson, as he stepped forward... 'If you're going to fight, you need your strength. So feed from me. Besides, I want to see what the fuss is about..'.. She saw him look at Barton and she smirked.

'And me. Look, I still can't get my head around all this, but you are a good person, vampire? I-I don't even know what to call you, but you've always been on the good side. Count me in..'..  Lexi smiles at Rhodes, then Wilson and Barton.

'Best thing would be for you guys to go to your rooms, I'll do it there. Nicholas, Eli, get my guys upto speed on what they need to know. Stark, Romanoff come with me. Banner..'.. He looked over to her... 'I know this is going to sound really weird, but down in my office, in my desk is animal blood. I need you to take some, add a lethal does of whatever you can find that will put me down. If anything goes wrong, you lot need a back up plan against me..'

She nods at the three she will feed on, and they all walk with Tony and Nat heading for the bedrooms. Lexi just hoped, that her guys would be safe. Knowing that she would now have to alter her plan, she would have a quiet moment with her three friends, about taking her guys, and bringing them back here safely.
