CHAPTER-8

Reena cooked Mutton Biryani and heated the remains of the food she cooked earlier that day. She was setting the table, Rocky came down. They both had their dinner talking about their childhood. Later, they both went to Rocky's room, the silence was awkward, they both settled on the bed and started browsing each other's phones. Reena wanted to know a few things about Rocky before she decides about her feelings for him. She broke the silence by asking, "So Rocky how many girlfriends you had before me?" Rocky kept his phone away and said, "Two." This stirred jealousy in her and she kept her face straight and asked, "who are they?". "My Mom and Reya." Answered Rocky. 

Reena was a bit taken aback by his answer and pushed him down and came on top of him. Rocky was shocked by her action and he never expected her to make such a bold move. "So if I say yes tonight, will it be your first time?" asked Reena. By the way, she was looking, Rocky felt blood flowing to his south, and he slowly nodded. She got up and walked to the door and said, "I am going to sleep in Reya's room, Good night Rocky." Making Rocky feel bewildered. "Shona, baby come back," said Rocky following her.

 She ran around the house and Rocky followed her and both lay on the grass in the garden panting. Reena calmed a bit and turned to see Rocky who was trying to calm his racing heart. She rolled to him and laid her head on his chest. Rocky put an arm around her and pulled her close. He kissed her forehead and rested his forehead on his. Both closed their eyes in bliss. "Shona, I won't touch you without your consent ever," said Rocky.

 Reena opened her eyes and saw him with his eyes still closed. Rocky opened his eyes and smiled. "But don't take too long to tell yes." He said in a baby tone. Reena smiled and snuggled into his chest and said, "I feel very safe here." Rocky tightened his hold and saw her closing her eyes. He lifted her and took her to his room and slept holding her in his embrace. The next morning, they both woke up early and Rocky dropped Reena in her hostel, Reena got down from the bike and stood near Rocky looking at her feet. 

Rocky turned the bike on, and Reena frowned and turned it off, he did the same and she did the same. She played with the Velcro on his bike holding him there. Rocky stood there watching her patiently, she stopped playing and threw her hands around his neck and pulled him into a hug, and said, "Last two days were one of the best days of my life, I loved every moment of it." Rocky hugged her back and said, "Even I liked it, Shona, the girl whom I love with all my heart was with me in my room in my arms, I wished those two days should never end." Reena broke the hug slightly and said, "I am hurting you a lot by making you wait, nah?" she asked with a shaky voice. "I don't know Shona, sometimes it hurts sometimes I feel that all this pain is worth it." Reena came out of his embrace fully and waved him bye, and walked into her hostel. 

They met at College after a few days and a Cultural Fest was on so Reena and Reya were organizing it and they were quite busy and Rocky came back to College after completing his Internship. Aditya, a boy from Even Management who secretly liked Reena dropped many hints to her, Reena understood his intentions and told him that she was not interested. But he continued to pursue her, Reena didn't tell this Rocky as she considered that guy harmless, moreover, she was busy with the Fest. Reena was checking the property for the drama in the auditorium she heard footsteps and turned to see the person, she was surprised to see Rocky standing there, she quickly glanced around, and seeing no one she ran to him and snuggled into him as she always does. "I missed you." She mumbled.

 Rocky hugged her back, "I expected I love you." Said Rocky in a sarcastic tone. Reena broke the hug and slapped his arms gently and said, "I am seeing you after a long time and you are talking like this." Rocky saw all the things around her and said, "Reya told me that you are heading to the Fest, how is going?" he asked. "Doing well so far we have got the props for the drama and we are going costume shopping from the shops in the streets tomorrow." Answered Reena checking her to-do list. Reya walked in, she was talking on the phone and waved hi to Roeena. "Ree, I have spoken to the Caters and placed the order for refreshments." Said Reya. Reena ticked her list and said, "That's done then some shopping and decoration are the pending works." Said Reena looking at the list. "Okay girls you carry on, I have a cricket practice session," said Rocky. "When is the next match?" asked Reena. "The day after the Fest, are you coming." Asked Rocky politely. "Yes," said Reena in an obvious tone. "Then I must practice hard so that I will maintain my not-out streak." Said Rocky and winked at Reena. Reena gave a blushy smile and Rocky left.
