CHAPTER-6

A month passed by and Reena got adapted to her new life in Bangalore. Reena and Reya had internals, so they studied hard and Rocky had to go for an internship, so he joined his family business. Both had hectic schedules and couldn't see each other often. But they were connected on phone calls. On Friday, finally, when her exams were over, Reena wanted to relax and decided to go for shopping to relax. She decided to call Rocky to join her, "Hello Rocky...." Started Reena but he cut her off. "Shona, I going to a meeting anything important tells me quickly." He said this in a single go. "Nothing much Rocky, I am going out shopping, so I thought that you might join me, it's okay if you carry on." Said, Reena. "Oh Shona, I'll try to finish this quick and join you, okay? And just share your location." Said Rocky.

 "Okay, Rocky." Said Reena and booked a cab and went to the Mall. She browsed through the shops and bought things and went to the food court and messaged Rocky, but he replied that the meeting was still on. So she had her dinner and she booked a cab again. She got in the cab and saw Rocky's sorry texts, she just sent it was okay, she can't fight with him as she is not his girlfriend, officially. Suddenly Reena found the driver staring at her through the mirror. She felt uncomfortable at his sight, she looked out of the window and found the route different. She checked the map, the area was different from the way that she has to go. "In which route are you going, this is not the right way." Said Reena trying not to show her fear. "This is a shortcut, mam." Said the driver in a sick tone. 

Reena was scared as she was a pampered princess and she was new to all this. She called Rocky, and he picked up the call for the fourth time and said "Shona, I am busy." But Reena cut him and said, "Rocky, I am scared and lost." In a low tone with a shiver. Reena's tone made Rocky shiver, she was new to this place, "Where are you Shona?" asked Rocky. "I don't know, I'll send the location, the cab driver is giving me the creeps." Wept Reena. "Don't worry Shona, I am coming, stay on the line with me." Said Rocky and hurried out of the office informing the manager that he had an emergency. He took his bike and raced to find his Shona. Reena felt better after talking to Rocky but she cried silently, Rocky could hear her whimpers, and visuals of Reena sitting in some cab scared flashed across his mind, he followed the location and understood that she was in a bad area, he whispered soothing words to her.

 After ten minutes, the cab stopped Reena looked out and saw a bike and a person standing in front of the cab. One glance told her it was her Rocky! She opened the door and ran to him and hugged him. Rocky hugged her back and rubbed her back to soothe her. She was shivering in his hold, tears pouring out of her eyes. Rocky wiped her face and held her tight in his embrace and gave the driver a deadly stare. He made his Shona cry! He made her sit on his bike and made her wear his coat as the night was cold and she shivered both in cold and in fear. He walked towards him and slapped him thrice and picked up Reena's things and came back to his bike. 

Reena clung to him when Rocky rode the bike. He took her to his home Reena was not in the state to think anything so she blindly followed him and she realized that she was in his house, only when they reached the living room. "Rocky, why did you bring me here and what about your parents and Reya?" asked Reena. Rocky took Reena to the kitchen and prepared mugs of Cocoa and said, "They have gone to Mysore to visit my aunt and I have given the servants off till tomorrow, so there is no one here." Being alone with him in a closed space made Reena blush. "You can stay here tonight, Shona." Said Rocky boiling water to cook noodles. Reena simply nodded and saw him preparing noodles, when he was done he served the noodles in two bowls. Both finished their food and Rocky gave Reena a tour of his house finally, he took her to his room. 

Reena entered the room and saw photos hanging on the wall. There she saw the photos of young Rocky. "Rocky is this you?" asked Reena touching a picture. "Yes, Shona." Answered Rocky. "You were very cute, after that what happened?" she teased. "Shona." Whined Rocky. He brought many albums and both of them sat on the and pored over the albums. "Your mom looks a bit strict." Said Reena rather hesitantly. Rocky said, "Yes, she is a bit but she is loving and caring too." Said Rocky. They continued to see and Rocky felt a bit of weight on his shoulder, he saw his Shona sleeping. He tried to make her lie on the bed but she snuggled into his arms. Rocky dimmed the lights and pulled her closer and slept.
