The next evening, Roeena along with Reya attended the party organized by Reena's colleagues. Reena wore a sari for the occasion.

Rocky had a call from the airline, so he was in the lounge busy on his phone. 

Reena walked in with Reya and began socializing a bit. 

"Reena mam, shall I turn on the music?" called a co-worker.

 Reena just nodded and went on sipping the appetizers. 

Reya joined the other kids in their dance.

 Samir observed Reena and Reya from afar.

 As Reena was lost in a conversation with her colleague and Reya was busy dancing with the other kids, Reya stepped on her long dress and tripped a little, and was about to kiss the floor, Samir noticed this and rushed to hold her. 

But before Samir could reach Reya, a pair of muscular arms reached her and held her close.

 Samir lifted his head and looked at the person. 

A muscular man, well dressed, looking distinguished and an aura of class radiating from him. Rocky, lifted Reya in his arms, holding her high. 

Reya put her arms around his neck and snuggled to him, "Papa." 

It did not take a long time for Samir to understand that he was Reena's proud husband and Reya's father. 

Reena's eyes caught sight of Rocky and she excused herself from the lady she was speaking to and came near Rocky and Samir.

 A small smile with a lot of attitudes was set on Rocky's lips.

 Reena looked at the men and did her part, "Rocky, this is Samir, and Samir, this is Rocky-my husband." Said Reena. 

Samir smiled genuinely and forwarded his hand for a shake and spoke. "Good to meet you, sir."

 Rocky's lips curved but his eyes did not show any pleasant reaction. 

"Same Same," said Rocky giving Reya Reena's hands and turning to his Shona and saying, "Shona, why don't you take Reya for a snack? I will join you, girls, soon." 

"Roc..." started Reena but he rolled his eyes towards the buffet telling her to move.

 He turned towards Samir and saw his hand still in midair. 

He slightly slapped his hand as a five and said, "Shona, I mean Reena told me you have stood in for me morally for them all these years. Well, thanks a lot for that. But if you have tried or ever plan to try something else like getting really close to my precious girls, I will not think even for a minute about your good deeds. I will show you hell." Rocky finished his speech with a slightly dangerous smile and left the place. 

Samir looked as Rocky walked to Reena who was standing with Reya near the buffet looking at them anxiously. 

He watched Rocky kiss Reya and take her in his arms and poke her gently making Reya giggle, he witnessed that Rocky was quite different from the Rocky he saw with him a few minutes before.

 Samir smiled to himself and thought, "This man is madly obsessed with his wife and daughter." 

Reena looked at Samir for a moment and turned towards Rocky who was feeding kebabs to Reya.

 "Chew slowly." Cooed Rocky as Reya chewed and swallowed. 

He fed her another bite as he observed his wife. "So, care to explain your thoughts, Shona," said Rocky making Reya drink some water. 

Reena looked at Reya for a minute and then looked at Rocky. "Princess, Will you get some Orangeade for all three of us?" asked Rocky making Reya stand. 

"Okay," said Reya and walked to the juice counter. Rocky pulled Reena by her waist and raised his eyebrows with a smile.  

Though he was having his attention on his Shona, he had an eye on his princess too. 

"Did you warn Samir?" asked Reena trying to push his large hands. 

"A kind of..." started Rocky but he was interrupted by someone.

 Reena came out of his hold and peered through the crowd to find who was talking through the microphone.

 "We have gathered here today to say goodbye officially to one of the best employees of Beverly Hills-Reena, General Manager. She has been with us for the past four years and under her this branch has reached great heights. Though the management is not ready to lose such a valued employee, we are forced to part away as she must go back to her motherland." And the person went on. 

"That's Harry, my MD." Whispered Reena to Rocky and Reya came with two glasses of Orangeade. 

Reena took Reya by one hand and Rocky by another and reached the center spot. 

"Ah, here she is, a few words please." Said the man handing the mike to Reena. 

Reena took the mike with a flushed face, she turned to find Rocky standing with Reya in his arms to make Reya see her Mumma. 

"Good evening, mates, I must thank the MD and my team for standing by me for all these years. I came to Australia broken without hope, but this place taught me to be strong. Today, my husband and daughter are with me here, I love you Rocky and Reya. I am nothing without you guys and Samir, my close friend. He has stood by me through my tough times. Thank you. Thank you all for arranging this sendoff party for me. I will miss Beverly Hills, my third home. Thanks." 

Everyone applauded and the music resumed, Harry called Reena by his side and asked her, "Well, Reena, I want you whether Samir is a suitable candidate for becoming the next General Manager?" Reena smiled and said, "Of course, sir, Samir was my subordinate and a great friend, he is professional, calm, and talented. Surely, he will take this hotel to great heights."

 "Umm, I am thinking of giving that boy a promotion, anyway none can match your level. Well, all the best for your future." Said Harry. 

Reena smiled and left the place, she found Rocky with Reya who was playing with the other kids but his eyes were fixed on Harry and Reena.

 And there was a small frown on his forehead and Reena shook her head slightly and went near him. 

She intertwined her fingers with his and looked at him. 

"Shona." Breathed Rocky. 

"Did my MD stir the monster in you?" asked Reena in an obvious tone. 

Rocky breathed sharply and said, "No" Though his heart said no, his brain was replaying the scenes of them speaking together.

 "Rocky, he is almost forty. And he asked me about considering Samir as my replacement." Said Reena.

 "I didn't ask anything, baby." Said Rocky in a relieved tone that caught Reena's attention.

 Reena smirked and said, "Someone told me that he was not that possessive." 

She walked near Reya with a smile playing on her lips. 

Rocky smiled at Reena shaking his head, only this woman has complete control over him. She only has the power to turn him into a beast and has the power to tame the beast in him.
