CHAPTER-55

Reya came out of her room and found a maid cleaning the kitchen. She thought of asking for help from her but she quickly decided against it as she knew Rohan was watching her every movement and she did not want that woman to get into trouble because of her.

 Her thoughts were broken as she heard someone entering the place. It was Rohan, "So my dear wife, how are you?" asked Rohan circling her. 

"Rohan, I not feeling well, I think I am having a stomach bug." Said Reya hoping that she could go to the hospital. "Really?" asked Rohan. "Yes, my tummy hurts." Said Reya placing a hand on her tummy, "I need to use the washroom." She added quickly and left the place.

Meanwhile at Bariya mansion,

Reena was rubbing Rocky's back as he spewed everything into the toilet seat. He washed his face and wiped it with a towel and snuggled into Reena's arms. 

She rubbed his back and said, "Rocky we are going to the hospital, now." She broke the hug and let him get dressed she took her bag and both settled in the car and Reena drove to Lifeline Hospital.

At Lifeline Hospital,

Reya and Rohan were waiting in the laboratory area to have some tests taken.

 And Roeena met the chief doctor and he prescribed some blood tests for Rocky. Reya went inside the lab to give her samples and Rohan went in with her. 

Meanwhile, Roeena were taken to another room for taking Rocky's blood samples.

 Rocky buried his face in Reena's tummy and closed his eyes tight as he saw the nurse taking out a new sharp needle for drawing his blood. 

Reena caressed his hair and held his shoulder tightly to support him. He slightly hissed as the needle pierced his skin. 

After giving out the samples Reya and Rohan sat in the waiting room.

 Roeena went to the Pharmacy to buy some electrolytes for Rocky.

 As they walked back to the waiting area Reya and Rohan went inside the Chief Doctor's office.

 So, Roeena did not see them. 

The Chief Doctor, Mrs. Tanu Sharma was also the family Doctor of the Bariyas.

 She checked Reya's reports and said smiling, "Congrats Reya and Mr.Luthra you are going to welcome your first baby." 

Reya's face lost color as her worst fears have come true.

 She did not know whether to be happy or sad.

 She felt tears in her eyes and she quickly wiped them. On the other hand, Rohan was shocked as he didn't expect this. 

He had a lot of plans for Reya. 

"Doctor, we are quite shocked as this was unplanned and are there ways to..." he started. Dr. Tanu understood his words but she was surprised to hear such words from him.

 "See, Mr. Luthra, don't take any hasty decisions. Talk with your wife and decide carefully as abortions are not easy. There are a lot of procedures for that and if you try it in illegal ways it is very harmful to the mother and the law doesn't permit it." Said Dr. Tanu in a hard tone.

 Reya was quiet all this time processing the news. 

"You both can leave." Said Dr. Tanu pressing the bell. 

Rohan took Reya's hand and both came out of the room and found Roeena seated in the waiting area. 

Reena looked at Reya and Rohan first. "Rey!" she exclaimed meeting her friend after a long time. 

Reya saw Reena there and her joy knew no bounds. She ran to her and hugged her and unknowingly tears poured out of her eyes. 

"Reya, why are you crying?" asked Rocky rubbing her back slowly. Reya came out of Reena's hold and hugged her brother and continued to whimper.

 Rocky held her close and rubbed her back slowly and whispered, "It's okay I am here." Reya felt warm and safe in Rocky's arms as he embraced her in a brotherly hug. 

Slowly, Reya stopped crying and Reena gave her some water she had Rocky wiped Reya's face with his hanky and asked, "What's it Reya?".

 Reya swallowed the water and slowly opened her mouth to say something but Rohan cut her off and started to speak, "The doctor just told us that Reya is pregnant." Reya looked at Rohan for a moment and looked at Rocky again. 

Roeena was on cloud nine, especially Rocky his heart bubbled with joy as his baby sister was going to have a baby. 

"Oh, Reya this is the best news." He said and placed a kiss on her forehead.

 The peon came there and told that Rocky was to go in next and Rocky nodded and was about to go into the Doctor's office but Reya stopped him. 

"What's wrong with you, Rocky?" asked Reya. 

"Nothing, just food poison." Said Rocky. "Oh, then let me also come with you to see the doctor." Said Reya using the chance to slip away from Rohan.

 Reya walked in with Roeena without minding Rohan's glares. Rohan too joined them and the doctor prescribed some medicines to Rocky and they walked towards the exit. "Rohan, if you don't mind shall we go to our house and share the happy news with Ma and Papa?" asked Rocky.

 "Yes, Rocky even I want to meet Ma." Said Reya. Rohan nodded not knowing what to say. Reya went with Roeena in their car while Rohan followed them.
