Here's an extra Chapter to Compensate for yesterday's post.

Rocky finished the call and looked at Reena who was rubbing her eyes sleepily. He cupped her face and kissed her forehead deeply and shifted her to her seat and said, "I have to go home now I'll call you later." Reena looked at him for a moment and leaned and kissed him on his cheek and got out of the car, as usual, Rocky waited till Reena walked into the Hostel. He drove to his home and reached the living room, he was a bit shocked and a bit surprised to see his Dadi! (Priya's Mom).

"Raja beta how are you?" she asked cupping his face. Rocky smiled and took her blessings and said, "Doing good Dadi, how are you?" "Fine beta, Priya told me that she has finalized a bride for you, so I came here to help her and I am going to stay here till your wedding." Said Indrajit Shetty. Rocky loved his Dadi a lot but he felt helpless at that point. He looked at Ram his face was blank and Reya had the same expression. Priya arrived with thalli of sweets and fed Raja a Ladoo and placed the plate on the teapoy and she passed a photo to Rocky. He looked at that photo uninterested and shifted his gaze to the floor, "She is Alia Arora, the only daughter of Anand Arora and Siya Arora. I met her in a Babaji Pooja at The Sharma's such a lovely girl. The best match for my laddoo." Said Priya passing the sweets to everyone. Indrajit Bariya looked at the picture "She looks well cultured and good-looking, isn't she Raja?" said Indrajit. Raja just hummed and continued to look down. Priya was too excited about the Proposal so she didn't notice Rocky's silence or disinterest but Indrajit noticed it and she made a mental note to talk about it to Rocky.

Post-dinner Rocky was standing on the terrace looking at Reena's photos, his eyes filled with tears. "What happened Raja?" a voice came making Rocky brush off his tears. "Nothing Dadi." Said Rocky in a strong whisper. "No there is something wrong, is it about your wedding?" asked Indrajit. "Dadi....that....Dadi" dragged Rocky. "Whatever is it tell me am not your friend?" asked Indrajit. "Dadi, I am in love with a girl and I wish to marry her." Said Rocky. "I guessed it beta, are you looking at her photo?" asked Indrajit in a mischievous tone. 

Rocky nodded and showed Shona's picture. Indrajit looked at Reena and said, "She looks very pretty and you both look like made for each other." "But I am a bit worried about Ma." Said Rocky. "Are her parents here in Bangalore?" asked Indrajit. "No Dadi, her father runs a luxury hotel in London and she lost her mother when she was very young." Answered Rocky. "Then she is from a well-settled family, if you love her a lot then stand to the ground and fight for your love dear." Said Indrajit and patted Rocky's arm and left the place. Rocky felt that a weight had been lifted from his back and smiled to himself.

The next morning, Rocky came down for breakfast and saw the others already seated. Priya came from the kitchen with a casserole of food she placed it on the table and served the contents and started to speak, "Raja, Ram, and Reya come home soon today because I am inviting the Arora's for dinner." Rocky interrupted Priya and said, "Ma I am not interested in the Proposal." Priya's face lost the brightness and smile and she said, "You have never met her then how can you express your disinterest in this Proposal?" "Ma, I'm already in love with a girl, so no Alia, Shriya, or Tabu come near my Reena." Said Rocky. Priya's eyes widened and she looked at her husband who was sitting with an expressionless face. "Priya, let's consider Raja's wish after all it's his life." Said Ram after a moment. Priya turned towards Indrajit and said the same, "Priya, it's Raja's life you must let him choose certain things and a life partner is one of those." "Fine, you all are on his side, his choice might be the final but I will never approve of that, if this wedding happens it will happen without my approval." Said Priya and left the place.

"Beta I know about Priya she is a stubborn girl but she is kind at heart, lets's meet Reena's family first." Said Indrajit. Raja was a bit upset as his Mom was not okay with his choice but once she meets his Shona she will get convinced, Rocky thought this and consoled himself.
