Chapter 12.

12. Under Attack

"Shots came from up there. I'm gonna check it out." Andrea said, "We'll check it out." I said and we both were gonna go when the Governor stopped us. "I'll handle it, sometimes biters get in through the side fence. There's no need for anyone to panic." He said and then someone yelled for help. We turned and he was headed to the person. "What happened?" He said, "Some guys came through with guns.." "How many?" "I..I don't know." And they started talking when a crowd was standing behind us.

"Everyone please just go home and lock your doors." The governor said and they did as there told. The Governor then grabbed both of us and lead us somewhere and everyone who were important were there.

"Any signs of them." Governor said, "Signs of what, what exactly is happening out there?" Milton said, "Some assholes want what we have." Merle said, "Then what are we doing waiting around here." Andrea said, "Damn straight, let's take these sons of bitches out." Merle said, "How do we know that the perimeter was breached, Did anyone actually see them?" Milton asked.

"They killed Warren." Merle said and The Governor started to give directions, he told Andrea to take care of them people, he told me to help anyone who is hurt. His attitude then change when he talked to Andrea, it was harsh. He left, "Merle what's going on?" "Can't really talk right now princess, got to protect the people." "I've saved your ass, what's going on." "Havent you been hearing, people broke in and we're gonna kill them. Now gotta go." Merle left, "Dick." I whispered, I went to Andrea. "They're hiding something." I said, "But what?" "Don't know.." "Let's go help the people." She said and we head out.

We saw smoke and Andrea was heading towards the shots. I followed her, "Be careful.." I yelled and she started to shoot, I couldn't tell at what since there was smoke. Then the Governor was behind us. "You girls alright." I nod, "I saw them." Andrea said and the governor gave a look. Then Andrea started to describe them, said one had a jumpsuit. Governor said we had to get off the streets. "Are we actually listening him." I said, "We don't have a choice." She said.

Minutes passed and the shooting stopped. "Think it's over?" I asked, "Cant be to sure." She said and we waited for a little and then came out. "We need to find the Governor." She said, i rolled my eyes. "He's probably at his place." I said and we both headed there, we then heard yells and noises. We looked at each other and nod. I pulled my gun out. We got close and the Governor was screaming. "No!" Andrea yelled and I looked, it was Michonne. I looked at the Governor and he was covering his eye. I put my gun down.

"Andrea.." I said, "put it down.." i grabbed her shoulder and she nudged me away. "What have you done.." she said, as they both pointed there weapons at eachother. "Guys.." I whispered and they just looked at eachother and spun around slowly. Michonne then put her katana away and walked away. Andrea ran towards the Governor, I ran towards Michonne. "Michonne! Please wait." I whispered yelled since we were outside.

She stoped and turned around and pulled me into an alleyway. "Are you going to put a gun on me too. He isn't what you think Y/N, he's a-" I cut her off by hugging her. She was surprised, "I'm just glad..glad your okay and here. I believe you, I try to get through Andrea thick skull but she wouldn't listen! I want to go with you, but I'm going to wait it out. See if I can help you because I sure as hell know, he's going to want to get you." I said and she hugged back, "Thank you...I'm staying in this prison. There's a group there, there." She said as she looked around and saw a paper on the ground, she grabbed it and I luckily had a pen on me and gave it to her. She then drew out a map and showed me where she was staying at. She gave it to me and I tucked it in my pocket.

"I'll see you soon." I said and we both hugged and parted ways. I didnt go back with Andrea, because I knew she would of got mad at me. There was going to be another brawl but I didn't even bother to go, how could I even go with all that happened. I went to my house and closed the doors, shut the blinds and head to my room.

I then took out the map Michonne gave me, and studied it. I added some numbers, miles so I knew how long it would take me. I started to pack a bag, and supplies. I put a couple guns and knives just in case and hid the bag under my bed. "I'll stay here for a couple days, then I'm gone... I'll see you soon Michonne..." I mumbled and went to sleep.
