Chapter 16.

16. Fight.

"Your scar is doing better." Hershel said to me, "Your hand is well too, you don't need to cover it anymore." He continued as he unrolled my bandage. "Thank you Hershel." I said as I hugged him. I went out of his cell and join the others. I stood next to Daryl, laying my body to his. Beth started to sing and I smiled. Rick came down with Judith, "Some reunion, huh?" Daryl said to Rick, "She's in a Jam." "We all are." Hershel said. "She'll come around.." I said and Daryl wrapped an arm around me. "Andrea's persuasive, this fellas armed to the teeth. Bent on destruction." "So what do you wanna do." Daryl asked, "We match it, Y/N drew a map of the place. We have an advantage. I'm going on a run." Rick said.

"I'll head out tomorrow." Daryl said, "No you stay here, keep an eye on your brother. Glad your back really but if he causes a problem, it's on you." Rick said, "I got him." Daryl said, "I'll take Michonne." "You think that's a good idea?" "Michonne is great, she'll help you out Rick." I said and he nods, "And Carl. He's ready. You hold it down here." Rick said, "Got it." Daryl said and he squeezed me tight and I smiled.

I then looked at Merle, he slightly smiled. I let go of Daryl and he was confused, I gave him a reassuring smile. I then signaled at Merle to follow me in a cell. "Want some private time with me?" Merle smirked and I rolled my eyes, "Sorry. About everything." He said, i hugged him. "I hate you, but you are my friend." I said and he hugged back but I let go. "You have to start being nicer now, no more being a dick." "Your killing me princess." "Merle." "I'll try." He said putting a his hand up. I smiled and we both head back. After Beths song we all went to our cells and slept.

It was morning and Carl,Rick and Michonne left on they're run. I was taking care of Judith, "Isn't she adorable." Carol said, "I didn't think I would ever see a baby." "Didn't you see kids, at Woodbury." "Yeah but they weren't babies." "I'm sorry about what happen over there." "Carol it's alright, I promise." I smiled at her and kissed Judith on the cheek and passed her to Carol.

I went to Daryl, "Hey." "Hey, thought you were sleeping." I said, "Nah." "I'm going to the caf, let's get breakfast." I said and held his arm and dragged him to the cafe. I made him breakfast, "Surprised you let me get touchy with you." I said as I handed him his food. "I just...missed yer. Thought you were gone."  He grabbed it and I sat down Infront of him. "I missed you too, I see your growing out your hair." I said as I grabbed a strand. "Like it?" He said with a smirk. "Love it actually. You should grow it out." I said and we both smiled. I felt my cheeks burning up so I ate my food. The rest came in and I served them their food, we all ate.

Days went by and Rick decided that he would meet up with the Governor. To stop this war, I tried to convince him that we shouldn't but he didn't listen. He is going with Daryl and Hershel, we all send our byes. I told both Hershel and Daryl to be careful, they nod and left.

I spend time with Maggie and we catch up with eachother. I told her about my time in Woodbury and she also filled me in on what happen. We all were out in the main hall, reloading the guns and putting them together. Glenn gave directions, "I'll go work on the cage outside." He said as he was going to leave, "What we should be doing is loading some of this firepower in a truck and paying a visit to the Governor. We know where he is right now." Merle said, "Are you suggesting that we go in and kill him?" Glenn said. "Yeah I am."

"We told Rick and Daryl that we'd stay put." Michonne said, "I've changed my mind, sweetheart. Being on the sideline with my brother out there ain't sitting right with me." He said, and then Merle and Glenn talked and Merle said that Rick would be dead soon to Carl. Glenn said that we would stay here and it's final and left.

"Seriously Merle." I said, "I'm just saying my truth." "Well your truth is wrong. We all want the same thing and it's the Governor to be gone. Suck it up Merle." "I don't know whether to be turned on or angry." He smirked and I punched his shoulder lightly. "Stop being a dick and help out." I said and he sighed and helped me with the guns. I went towards Maggie, "Sorry about what he said." I said, "It's Merle. Just how he is, thanks for controlling him." She said and I smiled. "When he wants to he listens." I said and we joked but went back to work.

We stopped and took a break, I went to the cafe to make a food and heard yelling. I went back and saw Merle eye to eye with Glenn. They started to argue and then fight. "Merle!" I yelled and I grabbed his waist, while Maggie and Michonne grabbed his arms. Beth shot a gun shot, which caused us to stop.  "Let me go!" Merle yelled  and we let him go. Glenn and Maggie went somewhere together, "Seriously Merle." I said and left the room.

I went towards Beth who was with Judith "Thanks for that." I said, "Had to stop them." She said, "Merle can't be stop, the man is stubborn as hell." I said and she smiled. We both hanged out for a bit and I fed Judith, I stopped when we heard cars pulling over. I handed Judith to Beth and went outside. They came back, Carol open the gates and they drove in. We head inside.

"So I met this Governor. Sat with him for quiet a while." Rick said, "Just the two of you, should have gone when we had the chance, bro." Merle said as he past by Glenn. "He wants the prison, wants us gone. Dead, he wants us dead for what we did to Woodbury. We going to war." Rick said as he left and we stood there, looking at eachother.I looked at Michonne and we both nod at eachother. "Looks like we got to prepare for a war." I said to her, "Better get ready then." she said.
