Chapter 14.

14. Reunited.

It was now night, I grabbed my bag and tied it to my back. I grabbed the map Michonne drew and sneaked back to where the Governor dragged me. I saw a way out and slowly made my way towards it. I had my gun out,and went towards the fence and saw that it was a bit broken. I used my good hand to pulled it apart until it was big enough for me to crawl through. I made it out on the other side of the fence and looked back. "Sorry Andrea, fuck you Woodbury." I said and ran away.

The sun was rising and I was still walking, I took a small break and sat down. I looked at the map and would mark where I passed. I drank water and check if I was almost close. "One mile away..better get going." I said as I put everything on my bag and followed the map.

The sun now rise, i was almost close. I encountered walkers but took them out. I had to use my hurt hand so I can get use to it. From ahead I saw a prison, "I found it!" I happily said and quickly made my way towards it.  I saw someone on top of a pillar. I think they saw me because they started to yell something to someone. I was now closer, and someone ran out with a gun. I couldn't see who it was, because of my eye and because the sun was blocking the way. I slowly got closer and they got closer.

They stopped and put their gun on their waist, i was confused and the sun cleared. It was Rick. "Holy shit.." he said, he ran to me and hugged me. "Oh my god..Is it really you Rick.." I said not moving in disbelief, "Yes! Yes, Y/N it's me!" He said and I hugged him back crying. "Im sorry for leaving, we went back for days.." "They're here!? Everyone?" I said and he nod. He pulled me closer to him. "They'll be happy to see you." He said as we went inside.

In the gates I saw Carl, he ran to me. "Y/N! I thought.." he cried and I hugged him tight. "I'm here Carl...I'm not leaving.." I said as I pulled away and wiped his tears. "The others! We have to tell them." "Lead the way." I said and we were now inside the prison.

I was behind Carl and Rick, "We have a guest." Rick said as he smiled, I took a deep breath and walked next to him. I saw Beth, Michonne and Michonne came running towards me. "Your here." She said and we hugged, "Thanks to you." I said and then Beth hugged me, "I missed you!" She cried, I hugged her back tightly. "I missed you too Beth.." I said, "What's going on?" Someone said and I turned around and saw it was Maggie.

I smiled at her and she ran towards me, i almost fell but hugged her back. "O-oh my goodness. I t-thought.." she said as she started to cry and I hugged her tightly. "I'm here Maggie...it's okay." I said as I rubbed her back. "What's with all the noise?" I looked and saw it was Carol. I felt tears forming, Maggie let go.

"Your alive..." I said as I cried and Carol looked at me in disbelief. She made her way towards me and touched my cheek and I hugged her. She hugged back and I felt tears on my shirt. "I tried..I came back everyday trying to look...oh how I missed you.." she said and I started to cry harder. "I thought you were gone..l heard you yell and I-I went back and..." my voice cracked as I started to cry more and she rubbed my back. "Daryl saved me. He helped me, he always went back looking for you. He had hope, but he slowly started to close himself." She said as she let go and kissed my forehead. "Talking about Daryl. Daryl! Come here!" Carol yelled and I heard mumbling.

I wiped my tears and smiled, Daryl came out of a cell, "What is it wome-" he then looked at me, he was in disbelief. I smiled and went closer to him. I looked at him and I started to cry, I hugged him and he hugged me back, carrying me. "I miss you." I said as I kept hugging him. He nuzzled into my neck and felt tears. He put me down and looked down. I grabbed his face to make him look at me and tears were in his eyes. I softly smiled and wiped them away and hugged him.

"We're glad your back Y/N." Rick said with a smile, "I'm glad to be back too. Where's Glenn?" "In his cell, but he wants to be alone." Rick says. "Where's Hershel?" "He's with someone." "I want to see him, please Rick." I said and Rick looked at Daryl and he nods. "Alright follow me." He said and I went with him to another part of the prison.

"Hershel someone wants to see you." Rick said and Hershel came towards Rick and the spotted me. "Hey old man.." I softly smiled and he hugged me. I hugged back. "I'm so glad your here, what happen to your eye?" "What happen to your leg?" I asked and we both smiled. "Looks like we got alot to talk about." Said Rick.

"What're you doing here?" I asked Hershel, "talking to someone." "Can I see?" "He's dangerous." Rick said, "I've been through things Rick,I can handle it." I said and I went inside and saw the man I was worried about.

"Merle?" I said, "Holy shit, isn't it the princess." He said with a smirk and I hugged him. "I thought you were gone." "I'm okay, i came to find my baby brother, Daryl and What the fuck happen to you?" He said as he looked at my eyepatch. "Yeah we do need a lot to talk about." Rick said as he pulled me away from Merle.

We all went back to the cafeteria, except for Glenn. There was tension and I can tell it was because of Merle. "What happen to your leg?" I asked Hershel, "I was bitten, Rick had to amputate it. Now I'm here." He said and I smiled. "How'd you know Merle?" Rick asked. "Merle saved me, he found me in the middle of the woods." "Princess could barely stand and walk. I took her back to Woodbury." Merle said, "I started to live there ever since." "What happen to yer eye and hand" Daryl said and everyone looked at me.

I took a deep breath, "The Governor." I said and I felt the anger from everyone, "...he wanted information on Michonne. I didn't give it to him, so he put anesthesia on my arms so I couldn't do anything. He threatened me and cut my face. My eye is okay, he slapped me, yelled.... He left the room and I needed to escape. Long story short, I broke a window with my hand, escaped. Patched it up when I was home and made my escape at night. Now I'm here thanks to Michonne." I said with a smile and she smiled back but looked sad.

"He did that to you..?" A voice said behind me and it was Glenn, he looked horrible. "Glenn!" I said and ran to him and hugged him. He winced in pain but hugged me back. I let go and looked at him, "What the hell happen to you.." I asked, "Ask your friend." He said as he looked at someone and it was Merle. He looked away.

I made my way towards him, "Is this why I wouldn't see you often...That's what you were doing the whole time!" I yelled as I got close to him, "I didn't know he was your friend, princess." "Don't call me that! and dont bullshit me, I overheard you and Andrea conversation about how me and her were in the same group. You did know, I trusted you! I backed you up! I was there for you!" I yelled and felt tears forming. "You hurt my friends, you tortured him!" I said as I pointed at Glenn, "You knew..the people who attacked us were them. But no! You lied to me! I thought we were friends!" I slapped him. Daryl grabbed me and pulled me back with him.

Rick led Merle back where he came from. I slowly started to calm down and I turned to Glenn, "I'm so sorry Glenn, I didn't know you were there." "It wasn't just me, Maggie was there." He said and I looked at her. "Did he hurt you..?" She shook her head, "The Governor, he touch-." "Glenn." She said, i already knew what it was and she left the room followed by Glenn.

"I should of known...You were all there. I should of gone to that brawl. I should of looked more." Daryl squeezed my arm, "Wasnt yer fault." "Where's Lori, T, the others?" I asked. "Didn't make it..." Carol said. "Oh..I'm..sorry." I softly said, trying not to cry. "It's okay, they're in a better place..." Beth said.

"Welcome home Y/N." Rick said as he came back. I softly smiled, "Im glad I'm back." I said. We all had a small celebration, Maggie and Glenn were back and the tension was gone. Maggie explained what had happen and I hugged her. We spend time with each other and  Michonne was getting close to the group. I was glad to be home.
