Chapter 15.

15. Andrea.

"So with what I seen, they have been training the citizens to fight. They plan on attacking here, there's a big chance he's going to want me and Michonne." I told Rick as we sat in the cafeteria and talked. I drew him him a map of the places in Woodbury. "So we have to be on guard." He said as he looked at the map. "Yeah..Andrea told me that she wants to make peace with you. The Governor won't allow that, he'll just lie." I said, and Michonne came in the room.

"She's right, when I sneaked into his office I saw that he wasn't the man he claimed. I tried to tell Andrea but she wouldn't listen" She said, "Andrea won't listen, she'll believe that there would be peace. She's going to be on his side no matter what.. I mean they have been screwing." I said and they both looked at me. "He told me. It was disgusting." "Then this will be harder than we thought. Thank you both." Rick said and Michonne gave him a confused look, "You helped Y/N get here. So thank you." He said and I smiled.

It was still early in the morning, i decided to sneak to the cell block where Merle was. I got there and saw him, "Why." I said as he looked at me,"Good morning to you to princ-" "Shut the fuck up and answer me." "Why what." "Why didn't you tell me that they were here. ." "...you were safe there, if you found out you would be in danger..." "And you still followed him after everything he did." "I had to! He's dangerous. Look at what he did to you." He said as he pointed at my eye, I didn't have my eye patch, it was now a scar in healing.

"I really trusted you..you were my friend. I cant forgive you for what you did with my friends." "I'm sorry princess. I had to." He said and I left his cell block and returned to the main.

I went up to the second floor and saw a crib, "Little Asskicker" I got close and saw a beautiful baby. Beth came close to me, "Adorable isn't she.." she said as she picked her up and handed her to me. I carried her, "Is..is this.?" "Yes, it's the baby. Her name is Judith " "Hey Judith...aren't you a cutie.." I said with a smile as I pinched her cheeks and she smiled. "I'll protect you baby girl." I kissed her forehead and handed her to Beth who smiled.

I went back down and Carol was awake, "Hey hot mama." I said as I hugged her. "You should be resting." "I'll be okay, couldn't sleep." "How's your hand?" She said and I unrolled it, it was snitched up. "It's getting better, and so is my eye." I said as I rolled it back. "Im so happy your here." She hugged me again, "Go rest for a bit." She said and I nod and went into a cell.

It was next to Carol, I grabbed my bag and placed it inside. Earlier when I was with Rick, I handed him some of the guns I took just in case. I did keep one, I took out the clothes I packed and set them up in the top bed. I couldn't go to sleep so I sneaked around. "Shouldn't yer be sleeping." I turned around and saw Daryl. I went to him and hugged him, "it's weird seeing you again." I said and he softly chuckled and hugged back.

I let go, "Sorry for what happen to you.." he said, "It's okay. I'm sorry about what happen with you and Merle, I heard about the fight." "It's alrigh', use to it by now." He said and I pat his back, "He's stubborn as hell." He smiled, we then heard talking and went back to the others.

"Andrea is here!" Carl said and we all head out with guns. I was behind Michonne, "Are you alone!" Rick yelled, "open the gate!" Andrea said, and they did, "Hands up and turn around!" Rick yelled and Andrea was confused and did as she was told. I felt bad and looked at Michonne, we got closer and Rick finish patting her.

"Y/N? Michonne?" She said looking at us, "Welcome back." Rick said and pulled Andrea inside. They all greeted her and Michonne left to the corner of the room.They all filled her in about what happen, about the deaths and Andrea express that she was sorry. Rick and Andrea started to talk about the Governor. They started to gang up on her and she then looked at Michonne. "What have you told them?" "Nothing." "I don't get it. I left Atlanta with you people and now I'm the odd man out." She said angry.

"He almost killed Michonne, and he would have killed us. Look at what he did to Y/N." Glenn said and she turned to me. She saw my eye, "H-he wouldn't..." "Well he did. I have told you many times about him. So has Michonne but you didn't listen to us!" I yelled at her, and she looked upset, guilty. "Look..I cannot excuse or explain what Phillip has done. But I am here trying to bring us together. We have to work this out." She said, "There's nothing to work out. We're gonna kill him, i don't know where or when, but we will." Rick said.

"We can settle this. There is room at Woodbury for alll of you." She said and I shook my head. I heard a chuckle next to me, "You know better than that." Merle said, "What makes you think this man wants to negotiate? Did he say that." Hershel said, "No." "Then why did you come here?" Rick asked, "Because he's gearing up for war. The people are terrified, they see you as killers, there training to attack." She said.

"I'll tell you what. Next time you see Phillip. You tell him I'm gonna take his other eye." Daryl said, "We're taken too much shit for too long. He wants a war? He's got one." Glenn said, "Rick, if you don't sit down and try to work this out, I don't know what gonna happen. He has a whole town." She said and then turned to all of us. "Look at you, you've lost so much already. You can't stand alone anymore."

"You want to make this right, get us inside." Rick turned to her, "No." "Then we got nothing to talk about." He said as he walked away, "There are innocent people." She yelled at him. We all stood there.

"You poison them." Andrea said to Michonne. I rolled my eyes, "I just told them the truth." She said, "I didn't choose him over you both, I wanted a life." "We have told you so many times about him Andrea! It looks like you did choose him over us." I said.  "That is not true!" She said, "And your still are with him." Michonne said. "No, I am there because those people need me." "What about these people." Michonne said and I looked at Andrea.

"I'm trying to save you guys to." She said and I scoffed. "Doesn't look like it." I said, "I did not realize the messiah complex was contagious." "Go to hell Michonne." Andrea walked away. I put my hand on Michonne shoulder. "He sent Merle to kill me." She said and Andrea stoped, "Would of sent Merle too if you came with me." My heart stopped. "You choose a warm bed over your friends." Then she went on about Woodbury and the Governor. Andrea slowly turned around and Michonne walked away.

I stayed and Andrea started to cry. I wanted to leave but after all, Andrea was a friend. I went towards her and she hugged me, "I'm so sorry..I'm so sorry." She repeated, I didn't hug her. "If your sorry...help us." I said, "I can't..." she said and I let go. I shook my head and went inside. I saw Michonne, "I'm sorry about Andrea." "It's fine. She would always choose him." "She'll come around...hopefully." I said and we all head outside.

Glenn gave Andrea a car and she looked around. "Well, take care." "Andrea." Rick handed her a gun and she drove off. Merle open the gates and she left. I was upset that Andrea chose him over us. We all headed back inside.
