Store Run

I groaned opening my eyes finding myself alone in a car. I started to panic thinking I was back in the upside down. I ran out the car and into the store Infront of me.

"Hello?!" I said running through the aisles.

I found everyone on the floor surrounding Eleven. They all turned their heads to look at me.

"What's wrong you okay?" Max asked quickly.

"Y-yea I just didn't see you guys and I was alone in t-the c-car." I stuttered out.

"I told you we shouldn't have left her in there." Will said.

"What's going on?" I questioned.

"El's leg is infected." Lucas said.

"Go get me a bowl and a washcloth." Max ordered Will and Lucas.

"A bowl?" Lucas asked.

"Lucas."

"Okay." Lucas said running off with Will.

It was just me Max, Mike, and El. Max stood up telling Mike to keep pressure on her wound and grabbed my hand dragging me away.

"So how do you feel?" I ask Max.

"I should be asking you that." Max said stopping looking at me.

"I'm fine Max don't worry about me." I said grabbing her hands kissing them.

"I can't help it. I'm scared for you, for El...for Billy." Max said.

"It's ok nothing is gonna happen to any of us, even Billy. I'll make sure of it." I said.

"I missed your lips stalker." Max whispered.

"I missed your lips too Rose." I chuckled.

We both shared a short but meaningful kiss.

"We should probably look for Lucas and Will before they burn down the store." Max said holding her hand out which I gladfully grabbed.

"You go I'll find some snacks to stock up." I said and she nodded her head.

I started walking through the aisles again finding Mike and El again.

"Mike I thought Max told you to put pressure-" I started.

"It's Dustin!" He said stopping me in my tracks.

"Dustin?!" I screamed rushing over to him.

"What's he's saying?" I asked trying to hear the boy but he kept going in and out.

"I don't know." mike said then the line went static.

"What is it?' Nancy said walking towards us.

"I don't know what he said. But Dustin said something." mike rushed out

I opened the refrigerator door as Eleven put on her blindfold. We all waited patiently for Eleven to find Dustin. After that whole Billy incident I didn't want to go there anymore. I heard a can of soda being open making me turn my head furrowing my eyebrows.

"Quiet Lu-ass!" I hissed.

"Oh sorry." Lucas apologized.

"How do you even drink that?" Mike said with a disgust look.

"Because it's delicious." Lucas responded.

"What?" Mike said.

"It's like carpenters the thing. The original is a classic no question about it, but the remake." Lucas said before taking a drink.
