"Isn't this a nice surprise." Max said sarcastically.

Mike, Lucas, and Will all slowly turned around with shocked faces.

"What are you doing here?" mike asked El.

"Shopping." She responded blankly.

"This is her new style. What do you think?" Max asked with a smirk.

"What's wrong with you?" Mike asked.

"You know she's not aloud to be here." He continued.

"What is she, your little pet?" Max asked.

"What no?!" Mike yelled.

"Why do you treat me like garbage?" El asked.

I just stood there not knowing what to do.

"What?" Mike said.

"You said nana was sick." El said.

"She is, she is, she is sick." Mike studdered.

"Yes very sick." Lucas butted in.

I rolled my eyes at the two and payed attention to my icecream instead.

"I dump your ass." El said making stop mid licking my ice cream.

I stared at mike with wide eyes and I turned to Max and her eyes were wide too.

El started walking to the bus with Max following her. I just stood there in shock and I felt Max grab my arm pulling me onto the bus with her and El. We got on the bus and sat down and it was silent. El looked at Max and they both started laughing and I just looked out the window at the party.

Me, Max and El were all at El's house after deciding to have a sleepover. El was flipping through a magazine while Max was singing and dancing around her room. And I was on El's bed laying down with my eyes closed. After the whole mall incident I just needed to lay down and relax.

"Oh I seen you found Ralph Macchio." I heard Max say.

"Macchio?" El asked.

"Yeah, he's the karate kid." Max said and made a weird noise making me scrunch my nose.

"He's so hot right?" Max said making me open my eyes sitting up.

I looked at Max and we made eye contact and she smirked.

What is she trying to do?

"Hey, um, is Mike a good kisser?" Max asked sitting next to me.

What the fuck?"

EL looked at Max confused while I just stared at her side profile with wide eyes.

"I'm just curious?" Max said shrugging her shoulders.

"I don't know. He's my first boyfriend." El admitted.

"Ex-boyfriend." Max corrected.

El's face faltered a little bit hinting that she missed him.

"Hey, don't worry about it. Okay?" Max reassured her.

"He'll be crawling back to you, he's like, totally wallowing in self pity and misery right now." Max said.

"I guarantee you, in no time he'll be begging for forgiveness." Max continued.

El's started to smile a little bit.
