"Any news?"

My voice echoed inside this sickening building. It wasn't that loud, but enough to make him startled. I can't blame him. We've been here for an hour, and I haven't spoken to him since.

"Wala po." He answered.

I sighed. I am starting to think that hiring----no, blackmailing him was a bad idea. He's cowardly brave to accept my offer but too cowardly enough to extract information that I desperately need.

I silently walked to where he was kneeling and then squatted in front of him. I grabbed his glasses and then threw them somewhere. The sound of the glass breaking scared him. Pathetic.

"Jayden, inuubos mo pasensya ko." I whispered.

Only the four corners of the room were witness to what I did to him.

She's mine, and I am going to do anything to remove all hindrances to this love we have, even if it means killing someone.

"I didn't expect you to be here." She stated as I joined her.

I had the urge to run away from her statement. It's been days, three days to be exact, since I started ignoring her and acting like we never met. I know it's wrong, but what am I supposed to do if being with her felt wrong also?

I remained silent even after sitting beside her. Pouring juice into her glass, I sighed. Being silent with her in this balcony felt different. It was peaceful; now it's dispirited.

"If by tomorrow you'll be ignoring my existence, like how you've been doing these past few days, please leave," Rebecca said with no remorse, her eyes losing their usual glow.

I can't help but to remember what happened three days ago, the day we fought...or the day I fucked up.

I can't help but sigh as she handed me a styrofoam food container. She's been like this kanina pa. Kanina pa siya nagpapapansin. Nagpapapansin in a way na para bang 'sinusuyo' niya ako. 'Sinusuyo,' iyan ang term na ginamit ni Kang kanina nang tanungin ko siya kung bakit extra ang pagiging caring ngayon ni Rebecca sakin. Nang tanungin ko siya kung bakit ako sinusuyo, sinagot lang naman ako ng...

"Ang arte mo kasi, mag-reflect ka." Sabi niya at pagkatapos iniwan akong naglo-loading sa kwarto ko.

Okay, I am not dumb or something. Alam ko namang she's feeling guilty about something she doesn't know about. Sinusuyo niya ako dahil kahapon ko pa siya hindi pinapansin. When me and Kang left the library up to the time we went home and ate dinner, hindi ko na siya kinausap. Ang dami kasing gumugulo sa isip ko at nakidagdag pa itong si Kang na parang uod na binudburan ng asin kapag nahuhuli niya akong nakatingin sa roommate ko. Parang tanga naman.

"What's this?" I asked. Halos mapapikit ako when I used a tone that I didn't even want to use in the first place. I sounded cold, tangina mo Erin.

Pero like the angel she is, she ignored it and beamed at me. Putangina naman, Rebecca.

"I learned na kanina ka pa hindi kumakain ng lunch. They told me na nagpaiwan ka dito during the break so..."
