The girls were finally returning from the successful Operation: Gallipoli with the infiltration party, their two new allies, one defector and a rather unconscious prisoner of war. Melbourne was explaining herself along with Aquitania.

Illustrious: I never knew scrapping could result in yous becoming shipgirls too.

Melbourne: The Chinese were taking their time with me, studying me to create their first carrier. Commie bastards.

Aquitania: I was meant to be saved, as Cunard's longest serving liner but my condition sealed my fate. I was taken to Faslane in Scotland were I ended my years of service.

Bulolo: But it does beg the question, how did yous become shipgirls? Me, Jervis Bay, Kormoran, Jeremiah O'Brien sunk and Adelaide blew herself apart in her scrapping.

Melbourne: Some blue cube fell onto my remains and next minute, I was here.

Bulolo: That's what happened to me after I sunk.

Jervis Bay: Me too.

Kormoran: Could it be we were all given a second chance in this world?

Jeremiah O'Brien: That might explain everything.

PoW: Also, what aircraft do you carry?

Enterprise: It's not a design I've seen before. They fly fast too, faster than ours.

Melbourne: My aircraft? I have 27 in total if I recall. My main airwing is formed of 20 McDonnell Douglas A-4G "Skyhawk" jet fighters. The rest are either Westland Wessex or Sea King helicopters.

Hornet: Helicopters? Is that what those with large propellers on the top are?

Melbourne: Yes. The large ones are Sea Kings.

Warspite: This would take a lot to explain to my sister, Queen Elizabeth.

Waters off Azur Lane base

Around this time, a small vessel floated near the Azur Lane base. It was small with a tall funnel painted black with a red stripe. Its hull was black with a cream top and featured two red wheels covered in large boxes.

Lying on its deck was small female figure. She was wearing a blue uniform with white mixed in and four brass buttons. Her hair was also as blue as her outfit and capped with a blue and white hat. She slowly awoke on the deck of the vessel, revealing her sapphire-coloured eyes.
