The US Navy were just at a loss for words. At first, they just thought these girls were only physical forms for communicating better but to see a ship break into blue cubes and form rigging, now that was new to them. The Azur Lane girls meanwhile continued their bombardment of Iwo Jima with the US Navy joining the fray. Victorious and Kaga's (AL) planes danced overhead defending everyone from Abyssal flyers... whatever their planes were.
Bulolo: Keep concentrating fire on Iwo Jima! It'll fall under allied control soon!
SD (KC): (Had leaped from the water aboard the Bulolo) You must be this "Bulolo" leading this fleet?
Bulolo: (Turns around) I am. Armed Merchant Cruiser HMS Bulolo, pennant F82 of Royal Navy from Azur Lane.
SD (KC): USS South Dakota (KC), BB-57, United States Navy.
Bulolo: Huh. Far cry from the South Dakota that Eagle Union has. Mind me asking who have you brought as I think you're not the only heavy hitter here.
SD (KC): Light cruiser Atlanta and Brooklyn (KC), battleships Nevada (KC) and Iowa, and aircraft carrier Ranger (KC). Could have brought some destroyers and submarines, but we couldn't get any.
Bulolo: Good thing. Me and my girls are enough. Seems we have some extra firepower to our fight. Azur Lane! We move to phase 2 fully! Engage rigging. (Turns to SD (KC)) Best jump off.
South Dakota (KC) leaped from the former cruise ship and watched as it broke into small blue cubes which formed around the figure she was previously talking to. She looked around to see the fleet also doing the same, noting the different designs of their gear. One even looked like it had shark mouths and old German markings, with a heavy emphasis on red and grey in her clothing. Atlanta was also quick to notice the German-like appearance of her attire. Ranger (KC) was launching F4F Wildcats into the air with a mix of British jet fighters and mysterious flaming blue aircraft.
Cooper: How much of those things do these Abyssals have?!
Bulldog: At least the Siren threat has been dealt with.
Brooklyn (KC): Sirens? Like Mermaids?
Cooper: We'll explain later.
Nevada (KC): Right. We'll concentrate fire on the installation.
Iowa: Yahoo! Here comes the 16-inches of freedom!
Ranger (KC): (Facepalms) South Dakota (KC) also has 16-inch guns too.
Iowa: (Clearly not listening)
Bulldog: By the way, miss. What is this "installation" you speak of?
Brooklyn (KC): Look out!
Bulldog: (Turns to see something rising from the depths, wrapping around her right leg)
Cooper: (Points her rigging and fires)
Bulldog: (Coughs) Thanks, Miss Cooper.
Cooper: Don't mentioned.
At the same time with the fleet led by Kaga (AL)...
Kongou (AL): All focus your fire on the island! It'll draw the enemy out for a one-on-one fight with us!
All: Got it!
Kaga (AL): Launching some dive bombers. Hopefully, it'll do some damage. (Launches a wave of D3A Val dive bombers by simply throwing one of the plane-shaped objects)
Sendai (KC): We need to take out that installation!
Jintsuu (KC): If we can destroy it, Iwo Jima will be humanity's once more!
