The news hit like a thunderbolt across the Azur Lane Task Force. The gate now being too weak to handle even another day was the sign that it was time to leave this world. After all the fighting, the experience, the partnership and the new alliance, their war with the Abyssals was officially over. On a hill overlooking the entire Truk Lagoon, Bulolo decided to take in one last look before their eventual departure.
Nevada (KC): Taking in the view, Azur Lane girl?
Bulolo: Huh? Oh... just want to have one last, long look. Once everything is ready, we're off.
Nevada (KC): To your home world?
Bulolo: Yes. The gate's too unstable now. It has to be this way.
Nevada (KC): Well, it was a honor serving alongside you and your girls, even if it was for a short time.
Bulolo: And it was an honour to serve with your girls too. While I'm not the flagship, I'm not sure what would become of the two local girls placed under my command.
Enterprise: I'm be transferring command of them over to the Japanese girls that arrived. That should relieve them from our command.
Nevada (KC) and Bulolo: (Turn to see Enterprise coming towards them)
Bulolo: Oh. Thank you, Enterprise. At least that's one burden off our shoulders and ships before we go. How long until we depart for home?
Enterprise: 20 minutes. Everyone's just saying their goodbyes to the local girls, and we better get our ships ready to depart as well.
Bulolo: Will take 10 minutes for mine to ready for departure, leaving some time to spare.
Nevada (KC): So... this is it? Never coming back to see us again?
Enterprise: Once we leave through the gate, it would most likely collapse and our worlds will separate. This might as well be our last time in this world.
Bulolo: Unless those crazy enough in the lab can really get creative or do something stupid, our worlds will more than likely never meet again.
Nevada (KC): Well, It was nice knowing you girls. Hope you have a safe travel back home to your world.
Enterprise: Same for you. Now, Bulolo, it's time we prepare our ships.
Bulolo: Understood.
Enterprise and Bulolo: (Head off down the from the hill towards the dock to prepare their ships for departure)
Nevada (KC): Those Azur Lane girls sure are strange but with all that has happened in a short space of time, where would we be without them? Safe travels, you mighty warriors from another world.
Truk Lagoon docks
Meanwhile down on the docks, something was definitely happening which no one would even see coming from even a mile away. Nagato (AL) had finally ended Akashi's (AL) long punishment of wearing the maid outfit she had been forced to wear since the previous year and now with it over, she could now put back on her more iconic white dress.
Akashi (AL): So nice to be wearing this again, nya. Been way too long.
Nagato (AL): And if you trying scamming shipgirls again, I will not hesitate to restart the punishment again.
Hammann: If she does it again, you don't have to deal with her, because I will.
Belfast: But... Miss Hammann, this is simply a Sakura Empire affair?
Hammann: Well, I have something to announce, and I feel that it's best to be open about it now instead of later.
Nagato (AL): Go on.
