With an official alliance between the mysterious shipgirls and Azur Lane, a new and more powerful strike group was formed. The main objective was clearly defensive operations around the waters of Japan, which Darwin and The Sullivans volunteered. The others, especially those of the Sakura Empire, went off to mingle with their counterparts. Bulolo went off with Z23, Javelin, Laffey, Ayanami (AL) and Kormoran, who were with Fubuki (KC), Mutsuki (KC), Shigure (KC) and Yuudachi (AL).
Bulolo: Boy does this base seem more like a village, once you get past all the dockyard facilities.
Fubuki (KC): The base here at Hiroshima is kept at its best thanks to the admiral.
Yuudachi (KC): Very true, poi. It's all thanks to our dear admiral, we're safe, poi.
Kormoran: So, yous have an Admiral. In Azur Lane, we have a Kommandantin, which that is Enterprise.
(A/N: In German, there's two translations to the word "commander". The common one "kommandant" is used for males while "kommandantin" is the feminine version.)
Mutsuki (KC): You're German?
Kormoran: From my original world, but technically I'm Iron Blood.
Z23: Which I'm from that faction.
Shigure (KC): How many factions are there in this Azur Lane alliance?
Ayanami (AL): Ten in total. Eagle Union, Royal Navy, Sakura Empire, Iron Blood, Dragon Empery and Northern Parliament are the major players. There's also the Sardegna Empire, Vichya Dominion, Iris Libre and Royal Navy-Australia Force. The latter is the youngest faction, formed four years ago and has six kansen, with their prefix as "HMAS".
Ayanami (AL) was beginning to blush with embarrassment.
Fubuki (KC): What's up with her?
Ayanami (AL): Nothing.
Laffey: She's just upset because you friend has the same name as her girlfriend.
Javelin (AL): Oh, yeah. The night of their confession on New Years Eve three years ago was so lovely.
Shigure (KC): Girlfriend? Who?
Z23: Shigure (AL), your counterpart from our world. Last week, she was damaged following die arrival of those "Abyssals" as you call them in our world. Shigure (AL) was part of the 8th Patrol Fleet.
Bulolo: The flagship was Aquitania as my ship was undegoing a hull reskin, along with Musashi (AL) being repaired from Siren damage, Saratoga (AL) being patched after hitting a rock and the Lakonia under restoration. Back at the dock when we left, Hornet (AL) was saying goodbye to her old Yorktown hull and to get used to her new Essex hull.
Yuudachi (KC): By the way, do I have a counterpart, poi?
Javelin (AL): Yes, a very feisty counterpart too. Like Hornet (AL), she's said goodbye to her old Shiratsuyu-class hull and replaced with a Murasame-class hull, which the old hull was stripped for parts for her sisters like Shigure (AL) and sunk as a target for her to try her hull out.
The four were amazed by this. The fact that they can get new hull while the original is disposed off for them to try out the new tech. It was then that a voice could be heard. Four women in their 20s wearing white robes and brass headbands was seen heading to them, with one being really hyper.
