Azur Lane base

While shenanigans were happening on one side of the gate in Hiroshima, the Azur Lane alliance were preparing for some shenanigans of their own with their development team, the revival of a deceased member killed during the previous conflict years prior that nearly ended in total annihilation on both sides. On the slipways of the shipyard on base, Hornet (AL) was seeing the final welds to an new hull to join their forces, but it was of a hull she remembered and were forced to scuttle and its deck gun re-used as a shore fortification.

Hornet (AL): Well, it's nearly ready for a proper launch. Didn't think Ironblood would give us the design drawings for a Type IXB, but here we are. Just hope the research team have got what they need ready. (Climbs down from the hull and sees Bismarck waiting)

Bismarck (AL): (Looks up at the hull) Ironblood design und Eagle Union construction. Didn't think this day would come true.

Hornet (AL): I do feel it an honor constructing, given the previous one is now a wreck even if the deck gun is still around.

Bismarck (AL): I'm aware of U-110's scuttling. Bulldog told me after der alliance became official.

Hornet (AL): Broke her heart performing it has from what Adelaide told me, U-110 died in Bulldog's arms despite them trying to save her. I still think it's crazy even trying to revive her. Shouldn't the dead rest in peace and us that are still alive leave them alone?

Bismarck (AL): We'd been playing with die idea of revival for a long while, but not a single deceased member as their wisdom cubes went down with der hulls. U-110 is der exception to this as Bulldog kept her cubes.

Hornet (AL): Right... when will this attempt on a kansen revival begin?

Bismarck (AL): Tomorrow. U-110's new hull will be synced to die revival.

Hornet (AL): Right. I'll inform the manjuus about this.

Bismarck (AL): Also, what will you do with your old Yorktown-class hull? Hasn't it been...?

Hornet (AL): Stripped for spares for my older sisters, yes. I'm considering on it becoming either a target for the girls to operate their weaponry or having it dismantled for scrap. I do know that we'll be hard at work given Vestal and Atago's ships are undergoing overhaul and repairs, and then we'll have Aquitania coming in as her funnels need replacement.

Hornet and Bismarck (AL) were then approached by a small girl with blue hair in a small, white two-piece swimsuit with a clipboard. This was none other than U-556.

U-556: Lord Bismarck, reports from Berlin for you. (Hands the clipboard to Bismarck)

Bismarck (AL): Danke, U-556. I'll check these right away.

U-556: (Looks behind the battleship and carrier) Is that supposed to be U-110's hull, but isn't she... dead?

Bismarck (AL): She won't be for long. Bulldog has her wisdom cubes and we'll see if she can be revived.

U-556: So, der revival project is coming ahead?

Bismarck (AL): Danke. Die time has come.

U-556: Should I inform Sakura Empire's Yuubari (AL)?

Bismarck (AL): Inform Royal Navy's Bulldog first. She has die cubes needed for der experiment begin. Go find her.

U-556: On it, Lord Bismarck. (Runs off to find Bulldog)

Hornet (AL): Always enthusiastic, isn't she?

Bismarck (AL): Ja.
