What news that came from the other world was definitely not what they were hoping for. While "Operation Sakai" had completed its objective of capturing the island of Iwo Jima, the fact that six shipgirls had gone missing was not a good sign and a fear that there were causalities from Azur Lane there.
Enterprise: Who's missing?
Bulolo: From our forces? Hammann, Akashi and Arashio (AL) which the latter stowed away inside U-110's submarine.
Nagato (AL): What about from our allies? You said that six are missing and only three from our side.
Bulolo: From theirs? The Mutsuki sisters and Brooklyn (KC). I'm not sure what we should do.
Bismarck (AL): Frau Bulolo, you are die most intelligent tactician in der whole of die Azur Lane alliance.
Bulolo: I just don't know what to do. One blindsight was that our foes from our world have followed us too into this one.
VV: You don't mean...?
Bulolo: Yes, the Sirens are here too.
Baltic: Are those them black vessels that glow red and have those humanoid forms with the most bare clothing out there?
Baragoola: The fuck?! You know what Sirens are, Baltic?!
Bulolo: Uh... who are you?
Baltic: I'm Baltic, ocean liner under the Sakura Empire.
Bulolo: But you have a British name...?
Warspite (AL): She only just arrived at the base a few hours ago and officially joined Sakura Empire. We were discussing her decision when you began your transmission.
Bulolo: I see.
Nagato (AL): Then what should be our next move?
Melbourne: I think it's time to send out the cavalry.
Warspite: What?
VV: You serious?
Enterprise: Melbourne?
Belfast: Are you sure, Miss Melbourne?
Bulolo: Tell me you're joking, right?
Melbourne: I'm actually not joking about it. If the Sirens are there, then they must be plotting something with those Abyssals in that world. They're a danger to not just ours as we know, but a real threat to that world too.
Baltic: It appears conflict would never escape and let the angels sing. War is such a nasty thing, painfully loosing so many colleagues and friends to the violent natures of man.
Everyone looked to the ocean liner with an expression of shock. Baragoola knew exact what Baltic meant as she once watched a sister burn to the waterline and even if rebuilt, wasn't the same. Baltic was however older, a veteran of the Great War and watched the White Star be decimated by the U-boat campaign. It was understandable why the old liner would say something that a pacifist would say; she just didn't want to see anyone else go through what she went through again, even if she was technically too late.
Melbourne: Muster a large enough group for what would have been the 3rd Relief Fleet and increase it. This has become more than a joint effort, it's a damned rescue mission!
Belfast: Miss Melbourne, I must say that jumping right into it might not be the best course of action. While the shipgirls of that world have been sharing what they know of these Abyssals, they're still alien to us in terms of their fighting abilities. We know the Sirens well, but not them.
