We continue where we left off, with the Sirens launching an ICBM and in response, Darwin firing a surface-to-air missile while Enterprise and Bulolo begin chasing after it, along with Purifier following them. On the surface, Prince of Wales looked on as Darwin's missile and Enterprise's plane shot past, chasing it.
PoW: What are they aiming for? (realises) Can it reach our base from here? Surely, we're far enough out at sea.
Darwin: Missiles fly further than a battleship's guns can fire and faster than an aircraft. ICBMs aren't called "Intercontinental" for a reason. Hopefully, a RIM-66 will shoot it down.
Orochi: Weaponry has evolved with one goal in mind above all others, unilaterally destroy the enemy from afar, and we have found the power to annihilate an adversary's headquarters from across the ocean.
Darwin: You don't know what you're messing with! In my word, usage of nuclear weapons is forbidden!
Further away, the Hellcats of Enterprise with both the mighty carrier and Bulolo were still in the chase against the ICBM while Darwin's missile keeping pace.
Bulolo: That missile won't stay with it forever! We have to bring it down!
Enterprise: Sure thing! (prepares her bow to fire at the ICBM, until a noise catches her)
Purifier: (laughs) Just who I wanted to see! Wanna play with me, Enterprise?!
Bulolo: Her again!
Purifier got her rigging straight at Enterprise and fired. The Hellcats dodging and weaving to prevent being hit, both Enterprise and Bulolo hanging on while the latter tried to get her 12-pounder 3-inch AA guns onto the Siren. It was then the ICBM broke and went faster, increasing the distance between the pisten-engine fighters, all while Purifier laughed madly as her organic rigging fired lasers at Enterprise. The Grey Ghost brought down one of the drones with a single strike from an arrow.
Purifier: Behind you.
Bulolo: Melbourne! Send a Skyhawk here! It's getting away!
It was that moment Darwin's missile ran out of fuel and dropped like a stone to the ocean below.
Melbourne: On it!
A Siren drone materialised from behind and hit another Hellcat, luckily missing the one carrying Bulolo. Falling in two, it made a final burst from its machine guns and brought the drone down. Enterprise, even more furious, continued to aim as Purifier hovered in front of her, blocking her shot.
Enterprise: Get out of my way!
Purifier: Bring it oooooooooooooon! (charges at Enterprise and fires her laser rigging)
Bulolo: (finally sees one of Melbourne's A-4Gs approaching and realises she's got a chance) Finally! Wrong team, BITCH! (fires her 12-pounder AA guns at Purifier)
A lucky shot from the Armed Merchant Cruiser hit Purifier's rigging but debris struck the F6F Hellcat she was on. Now, her, Enterprise and Purifier were falling towards the ocean.
Purifier: Looks like I win this one, you two!
Bulolo: (gives her a smug look) Not if Melbourne has anything to say about it.
Purifier: EH!? (looks and sees a jet fighter blast past them and fire a AIM-9 Sidewinder missile)
Before it could get away, The ICBM was hit by a Sidewinder from Melbourne's Skyhawk. It detonating it far from Azur Lane base. Sadly, the A-4G could not escape as it was caught in the blast, it bursting into flames as it fell to the ocean below at high speed.
