The revival but mysterious transformation of U-110 was certainly the talk of the base. The fact that it was now possible to bring back the dead certainly brought some opportunities on others killed previously but as the subject now had an altered appearance, questions were also circulating around that the same could happen to them too. While this was the case, the faction leaders were concerned with a rather different matter entirely as Nautilus' report of an unknown submarine outside Azur Lane Base's territorial waters was a major concern in case it was a Siren vessel, or another transported vessel.

Enterprise: These drawings submitted by Nautilus certainly raise my eyebrows. Never seen before.

Bismarck (AL): Design just doesn't match with existing submarines. Hmmm... (Looks at one of the drawings)

Nagato (AL): It just looks like a very straight whale which has a large headache.

QE: It's conning tower reminds me of those on Siren submarines. It could likely be one of those trying to pose as a friendly as to slip through our patrols.

Bismarck (AL): I don't think so, Lizzie. Die conning tower looks like that of der Type XXI under development back in Iron Blood.

QE: Good point, Bismarck (AL). We still have to determine if the submarine here in friendly or hostile. Also, don't call me "Lizzie"!

Baragoola: These statistics and even the drawings seem... familiar to me. I think I might be able to help.

Enterprise: You've seen something like this before, Baragoola?

Baragoola: If I were to guess, this is a post-World War Two submarine as that looks like a sonar dome, along with the smooth conning tower. It was improve hydrodynamics based on a German design from my old world.

(A/N: This is the Type XXI U-boat being referenced here, with the type introduced in 1943 and first commissioned in 1944. One of these still exists, U-2540 at the German Maritime Museum in Bremerhaven, Germany. Some of what was used in the Type XXI influenced submarine designs after WWII.)

Bismarck (AL): Any matches, Frau Baragoola?

Baragoola: Don't need to be so formal. I'm just a passenger ferry, not an ocean liner. However, the design on these drawings does look like that of a refitted O boat.

Nagato (AL): O boat?

Baragoola: Oberon-class diesel-electric attack submarine. I recall the RAN had six and I think my memory might fail me but I think all of them got this upgrade.

(A/N: Did a check. All six Royal Australian Navy Oberon-class submarines received the same upgrades apart from two that made them SSGs.)

QE: Names?

Baragoola: Onslow, Otama, Ovens, Orion, Otway and Oxley. Last I recall, only Onslow and Otama got the missile upgrade. Even with that information, there's no way of telling who this particular Oberon is, as the type also saw service in the UK, Brazil, Chile and Canada.

Enterprise: The only way we'll know who she is even would be via confrontation.

Melbourne: I don't think so. If it is either Onslow or Otama, they'll sink anyone before you realise it. We've already been demonstrated the power of the missile against hostile targets.

Bismarck (AL): You've got a point. If it's one of der two with those weapons, then it'll be a tough time for all of us. Right... onto the subject with U-110.

Helena (AL): (Walks in) Recent intelligence report from Cavalla's patrol last night. (Hands the report to Baragoola)

Baragoola: Thanks. (Looks at the report and suddenly goes quiet) Uh... you lot might want to see this.
