Waters outside Azur Lane base

Dawin: Oberon-class submarine, you are now in the presence of Royal Navy-Australia Force warship HMAS Darwin. Please state your name, pennant and intentions.

????: D... Darwin? It's SSG-62.

Darwin: (Realises who it was, remembering that pennant number, and gasps) Otama?

Darwin was in a state of confusion and shock. She remembered HMAS Otama back in her old world, one of the RAN's Oberon-class diesel-electric attack submarines that was known as the "Gucci Boat" and last she remembered, the submarine was rusting away near a headland in Victoria.

"Otama": But... it can't be... unless...

Darwin: Wait... you were scrapped too?! Please surface. Need to be sure it is indeed you.

"Otama": Alright. Just hold on for a second.

Darwin ran to her ship's bridge wing on the starboard side as the contact was approaching from that side. As she peered into the fog, she could see a disturbance in the water as a hulking shape emerged from the depths. It looked like a submarine but it was black with a tall but round conning tower and a large bump on its bow. Unlike most submarines, this on lacked a deck gun for some strange reason. It was when she noticed the badge on the side of the conning tower that it confirmed everything.

Darwin: I knew it, I fucking knew it! That is 100% my old friend Otama! The Gucci Boat is here! Wait until AE2 sees this

A figure appearing to be in her late-teens wearing a black and white wetsuit. She had what looked to be either black or really dark blue hair and deep green eyes, along with a skin tone that Darwin could quickly tell was a tan instead of a natural skin colour.

Otama: I didn't expect the last of our Yankee-built Adelaides to be here. G'day, young Darwin.

Darwin: Bloody hell. Your ship's in much better shape than the time it was last seen. How the hell did you end up in this world?

Otama: Parks Victoria seized me and sold me for scrap. I was broken up at Henderson, WA despite the society that bought me originally wanted me spared.
