the concert was being the greatest ever. there were even more people than the last time you played. they were all cheering, clapping and dancing to the music. you were having a blast and Eddie's eyes were glistening. you had one song left before Eddie had his moment.

"- My father never talked a lot
He just took a walk around the block
'Til all his anger took a hold of him
And then he'd hit

My mother never cried a lot
She took the punches, but she never fought
'Til she said, "I'm leaving, and I'll take everything" So she did

I say they're just the ones who gave me life
But I truly am my parents' child

Scattered 'cross my family line
I'm so good at telling lies
That came from my mother's side
Told a million to survive
Scattered 'cross my family line
God, I have my father's eyes
But my sister's when I cry
I can run, but I can't hide
From my family line

It's hard to put it into words
How the holidays will always hurt
I watch the fathers with their little girls
And wonder what I did to deserve this

How could you hurt a little kid?
I can't forget, I can't forgive you
'Cause now I'm scared that everyone I love will leave me

Scattered 'cross my family line
I'm so good at telling lies
That came from my mother's side
Told a million to survive
Scattered 'cross my family line
God, I have my father's eyes
But my sister's when I cry
I can run, but I can't hide
From my family line

Oh, all that I did to try to undo it
All of my pain and all your excuses
I was a kid but I wasn't clueless
Someone who loves you wouldn't do this
All of my past, I tried to erase it
But now I see, would I even change it?
Might share a face and share a last name, but
We are not the same

Scattered 'cross my family line
I'm so good at telling lies
That came from my mother's side
Told a million to survive
Scattered across my family line
God, I have my father's eyes
But my sister's when I cry
I can run, but I can't hide
From my family line."

you looked at Eddie and he smiled to you, loving the song you wrote. he got closer to you and kissed you lovingly, making everyone applause.
your heart was pounding in your chest and he whispered a "I'm proud of you" in your ear. you kissed him once again and it was finally time for his secret final.

he made a sign to the rest of the group and they nodded in response.
you grinned, not understanding why you were the only one not aware of what was coming. you went to sit at the table in the crowd, next to robin and Jonathan.

he started by playing a solo of electric guitar, and softened his rhythm before starting to sing.

"- When we're out in a crowd laughing loud
And nobody knows why

When we're lost at a party, getting drunk
And you give me that smile

Going home in the back of my van
And your hand touches mine

When we're done making love
And you look up and give me those eyes

'Cause all of the small things that you do
Are what remind me why I fell for you
And when we're apart, and I'm missing you
I close my eyes and all I see is you
And the small things you do

When you call me at night while you're home
Getting high with your friends
Every "hi", every "bye", every "I love you" you've ever said

'Cause all of the small things that you do
Are what remind me why I fell for you
And when we're apart, and I'm missing you
I close my eyes and all I see is you
And the small things you do

When we're done making love
And you look up and give me those eyes

'Cause all of the small things that you do
Are what remind me why I fell for you
And when we're apart, and I'm missing you
I close my eyes and all I see is you
And all I see is you and the small things you do
All the small things you do. »

you wiped a tear who escaped your eye and you clapped with all the other. Eddie hopped off the stage and put down his guitar, walking towards you. he made you stand up and looked right into your eyes.

"- y/n, you are the most precious human in my life. I have loved you since the day I met you. I know things have been rough, and not always very easy but I have never loved you more than I am right now. you make me the happiest man in the world when you give me those eyes, this smile and your love. I don't see myself anywhere else than beside you. so, tonight, in this bar where we first kissed, I'm asking you the most important question ever." he said and slowly got on on knee.

you couldn't believe it.
you covered your mouth with one of your hand, feeling the emotion rush into your body. you felt the tears run down once again, but they were pure joy.

he got out of his pocket a little box, and opened it, making everyone gasp and cheer.

"- y/n y/f/n, will you marry me and accept to become y/n Munson ?" he finally asked smiling.

you turned your head to look at robin, who was clapping, also crying her eyes off. Jonathan was smiling, nodding to push you to do what you wanted. you smiled and removed your hand from your mouth.

"- yes, Eddie. I will marry you." you said and he got up quickly to hold you in his arms, making you turn while everyone clapped louder and whistled.

he kissed you with all of his heart, and got out the beautiful silver ring before putting it on your finger.

you turned around and everyone made even more noise for you when you lifted your hand up for everyone to see. Eddie proposed to you, and you were ... his fiancee.

everyone went to greet you and give you their congratulations. robin hugged you tightly than she ever did.

"- I can't believe you're actually getting married. I'm so so happy for you." she said with her eyes still glistening from the tears and you kissed her cheek.

"- hope you're next." you whispered in her ear and she laughed.
