Mercy

It's been a few days and there is still no change on when we should expect the other Pack. James had Brian contact Finn to see if he could help just in case out allies didn't show up and he happily agreed. Who would have guessed the Coven leader was up for a good fight? Spoiler alert, everyone. He's a Vampire.
I climbed out of the shower with my towel wrapped around me and walked to the closet to get dressed. I wasn't in the mood to go anywhere or do anything for the rest of the day. I spent all morning training the archers and I can officially say they are ready to move on to phase two.
Phase two is a course of moving targets. Once I feel as though they are able to move to phase three, they will work on stealth meaning tree to tree movement as silently as possible. It will take practice, but I think they will get there in time. After they are done with both phase two and three they will move on to four.
They will be sent to the woods to use their knowledge to take down Rouge's as quickly and quietly as possible. If one of them are to be made, then they will all have to redo phase four. This group is well aware that this is not an individual group. They are a team and when one fails, they all fail. If one only succeeds, they all fail. There is no debate.
I walked down stairs to the living room and looked around. There was nothing really for me to clean so I decided to go for a quick run. I could feel her excitement at my thoughts and went out the back door to strip down.
I shifted, then took of running into the woods behind our house. The wind felt amazing as it soured past me and through my fur. If I could stay in this form forever, I would. Although, I knew I wouldn't due to missing all the luxuries my human form received. Showers and a warm bed being two of those things.
I ran until my legs grew tired, then pushed myself harder. I wanted to increase my endurance and stamina the best I could. What I didn't expect was to come to a stop from the person in front of me. Hope. She ran over to me and tackled me playfully sending me to the ground. Of course, I allowed her to get the win so she would feel better.
She has still been anxious about the whole fight thing and I hate that I can't help her. James can only do so much by being by her side, but he also has his duties and training to attend to.
"What are you doing out here all by yourself?"
"Am I not allowed to run alone anymore?" She sassed laying on the ground beside me.I laid down next to her resting my head on her back. She felt it as me being comforting and in a wayI did to. I always feel comfortable with her, but my protective instinct over her are stronger.
"Of course you can, but not when there is a war coming."
"The whole reason I'm out here is to forget about that." She sighed laying her own head on her paws.
"I know, Beautiful, but we all still need to be very cautious."
"I know." She whimpered.I knew this whole thing was effecting her, but I didn't realize it was swallowing her whole.
"I know you're worried about the Pack and James, but have faith that we will be okay."
"How can I when we don't have anyone to back us up?" She worried out.
"We have a badass Coven filled with fangs to back us. They can take out more people than we could within the blink of an eye. Have faith."
"I'm trying. It's just hard when my people's lives are still at stake. There will be loss even if there is victory." She stated knowingly. She was right, but no matter what there will always be loss. It's the one cost of going to war with another Pack, but I could never tell her that. She already knew it.
