Mercy

🦋

I am very excited for tomorrow. Last Thursday I invited my new Luna to come to a club with me. She agreed, but the only problem is she didn't want James to go. He gave her the ultimatum that if he can't go, then he'll send someone to watch over us.

I wasn't dumb. It wouldn't be a warrior. It would either be Brian or Bash and my guess would be Bash since Brian wouldn't leave Janet to go to a club if she wasn't in the state to go.

I eventually talked her into allowing James to go and she agreed much to my pleasure. I was glad it was James coming and not Bash. He would just be a creep all night. I even though about inviting Ashley to come celebrate my birthday with me, but I decided against it. She's cool and all, but I'm still not aquatinted with her just yet. We just started getting a long yesterday.

The reason I chose to go to the club Thursday was because my birthday was on Friday and I wanted to spend my day with my Mom who would probably push me to go out and search for my Mate in both Pack's. She is going to be very upset with me because it's not happening. We have spent ever one of our birthdays together even before my Father passed and she had only ever missed one of mine due to working.

I decided today I would just skip working out and go to the lake to hang out. As I was walking out my door I ran into Billy and Ashley. I pretended I didn't notice them and began walking, but they had noticed me.

"Merce." Billy called out.

I turned around and smiled lightly.

"Hey, guys. What's up?"
"Cut the shit. I know what you were trying to do." He smiled.
"Sorry.."

No I'm not.

"Where are you heading off to?" He asked.
"The lake, why?"
"Hey! So are we!" Ashley smiled.

Fuuuuuck.

"No way?"
"Way." She giggled.

So much for a me day.

"Mind if we tag along?" Billy asked kindly.
"Sure, it's better than going alone."

Lies.

"Cool. Let's go." He stated leading us to the elevator.

I think Ashley caught on to my little.. mood because as soon as we were in the elevator she sighed while sinking towards the back. I nodded my head, then turned to her.

"I know you noticed, but I promise it has nothing to do with you. I just have a lot on my mind and wanted alone time, but like I said it is better than being alone."

She smiled lightly at me and stepping to stand next to me.

"Thank you by the way."
"For what?" She asked.
"The heads up yesterday."
"Oh, that was nothing. He was practically eye fucking you." She giggled.
"What?" Billy asked.
"Nothing."
"Nothing." She said the same time I did making me smile to her.

She winked back and he rolled his eyes.

"This little thing you two are doing. Stop it." He stated annoyed.
"What little thing?" She asked confused.
"Having secrets." He answered.
"Would you rather us go back to not liking each other?"

He sighed, then shook his head quietly as the doors opened. Before we even stepped out the door Brian called mine and Billy's name. We turned to him and I smiled lightly.

"Beta Brian, how are you today?"
"I'm good. Listen, I was wondering if you two knew where y'all's Mom was. She isn't answering her link." He stated.

I looked to Billy as he looked to me.
