I was confused on why James had stopped walking until I turned around. She wrapped her arms around his neck whispering softly. Her body then went limp before her eyes closed.

"Mercy?!" Brian shouted moving to her side.

James stood there as her chest stilled after a low exhale. He just looked down at her shocked as tears filled his eyes. I myself stood there shell shocked. What happened? What went wrong?

"James, set her down. I need to do CPR or something." Brian told his Alpha who didn't make a move.
"JAMES!" He yelled snapping him out of his head.

He shook his head looking to his Beta, then softly placed her down. I moved closer listening for a heart beat, but there was none. I needed to help her or something. I thought about biting my wrist to feed her my blood with hopes it will get into her system before it shut down, but froze. I already did..

"She saved us." James said taking her already pale hands into his.
"Focus!" Brian rushed out breathing air into her mouth.
"She died in my arms." James stuttered.
"Hey, guys."
"What happened? I don't see anything hurt on her." James asked looking to Brian.
"It probably had to do with her darkness." He answered still preforming CPR.
"Guys?"
"Did she know we couldn't find Seb already?" Brian asked.
"I'm not sure." He answered.

I just stood there with my hands in my pockets getting annoyed. They kept going back and forth ignoring me before I finally yelled.

"Listen to me!"

Their heads snapped to me and I sighed.

"You don't need to do that. She'll be fine."
"How do you know?" James asked unsure.
"Because earlier today when she woke up she literally clawed her birth control bar out of her arm and I fed her my blood to heal the wound."

Brian fell on his rear shocked as James snarled angrily.

"You did what?!" He yelled.
"My blood healed her and helped her regain her energy. Without it none of what happened today could have happened."
"Do you have any idea what you have done?" James asked, but Brian was the one to speak before me.
"It doesn't matter now. He couldn't have known this would of happened. She will transition and be alive. That's what matters." He stated scooping her up in his arms and walking towards the wood line.

James just shook his head as we began to follow him.

"She is going to be heart broken. Do you think she honestly wants this? She is going to have to live forever without Seb." James stated.
"Exactly, she is going to live forever meaning no matter how long after your dead, she can protect your kids and your grandchildren. Also for the last time, his body hasn't been found. He could be alive."
"How could I ask her to do that? She had given too much to this Pack." James stated.
"Like what?"

He stopped and looked at me as if I was stupid.

"Oh I don't know. She practically ran their Pack beside her Mother and Billy before I swooped in and saved them. She gave this Pack and me her trust. She has gave us knowledge of archery. She has possibly lost her Mate for this Pack along with losing her Brother. Now, all her people that were warriors are dead. They may have came into my Pack, but they were still her's and her Mother's." He answered and began to walk again.

I had no idea she was as strong as they say. I mean, sure she had a strong mouth and a great talent for bows. Not to mention her skill with stealth, but another Pack? I had no idea. Then again, I barely know these people, her included.
