He barred his canine's at me and I just crossed my arms leaning against the concrete wall across from his cell door. It would break Mercy's golden heart to see him like this.

"You hate me, right?"

His deep throaty growl towards me confirmed my suspicions.

"I gave you my word and you believed I betrayed it, but I never give my word unless I intend on keeping it."

He stayed silent and I knew I needed to explain more to him. I knew Sebastian had named his dark side much to Mercy's request so I wasn't going to address him. I was going to address the one in charge.

"I did keep my word, Demon. She was safe and sound in a bed when I returned back to my Coven. She slept for a few days, then awoke. I wasn't sure why she slept for so long, but she did. When she woke up, she didn't have time to rest or question where you or her people were."

I could tell I had his attention, but he wasn't letting his guard down.

"Your Luna and Mate's Mother lied about your welfare. They had no clue if you were alive although they didn't feel your death, they were uncertain. They did however know that James, Brian, and.. Billy was alive."

For reasons unclear to me saying the mans name aloud was uncomfortable to me. I think it's because I seen the effect his death had over her. To this very moment it gives me the chills.

"They knew she was the only one that could take McWay out and it could be done with just a single arrow. So they told her you were there with them, but she knew something was up before Ashely or myself could tell her the truth. They thought her to be gullible, but your Mate is a lot smarter than they gave her credit."

I shook my head still pissed at myself for listening to her selfish Mother and Luna. Two Woman who put their own feelings above their Daughter and Soul Sister as they claim to be. I wonder if their relationship will ever be the same.

"Mercy, as stubborn as ever ripped her birth control thingy out. I didn't even know contraceptive like that existed and honestly it was disgusting to hold the little thing in my hand just to study it."

I managed to chuckle remembering the cringed look on her face when I scooped it up in my fingers to get a better look at it.

"She was bleeding everywhere and I gave her my blood to heal her wound."

He charged at the cell bars slamming against them repeatedly. I had a feeling it would anger him hearing that. I let him ware himself out before crouching down in a defensive position before continuing.

"I didn't think you would be too happy to hear that, but I don't intend on lying to you about what happened while you were.. gone."

He stayed in his stance not moving an inch. He huffed and I knew that was his way of telling me to continue. This should be his people here telling him, but it seems to be a pattern that they keep need to know shit from their Friends. Where's the loyalty?

"She healed up and I went to find her bow while she ate something. It was the only way I would let her leave the safety of the Coven. When we got there she had assumed you to be dead from how they were acting. I believed so too, but there was no body and as I said no one felt your death. She wanted to have hope so I gave her as much as I could."

I didn't bother looking to him because I knew he would hate what came next.

"Before she woke up all the warriors that were imprisoned were slaughtered at once. They lost all faith of being rescued and gave into their deaths. Their throats were all slit and my mens hearts were ripped out. I'm sure you remember feeling that."

Now for the hard part.

"Right as she was about to take McWay out. The unthinkable happened. One second he was standing in front of James, next he tore Billy's heart out. She froze and nearly collapsed from witnessing her Brother's death. I had to cover her mouth so they wouldn't hear her scream."

Demon blinked, then retreated back to his corner never once taking his eyes off me.

"Once I got her to the ground all her heartache from the moment she woke up to not seeing you there to the point of her Brother's life being taken before her very eyes began to take over. Her pain was so great she pushed a very angry Beaut to the front willingly. Sound familiar?"

He growled his warning at me. For what? I'm not sure, but I didn't give a damn.

"What she did next.."

How do I put it into words?

"That is something no supernatural can say they have witnessed. It was Godly. Her and Beaut worked together side by side from just her body alone. It was amazing. She used the Earth as her weapon."

I walked closer, then crouched as the cell doors. I made sure to stay far away from them, but close enough to show him the true amazement in my eyes.

"She dug her claws into the ground. From that moment the clouds grew darker as if a storm was approaching and the most raw and knee bending power raked across the whole area. Moments later, a sorrow filled scream left her mouth and clouds of fog came from the Earth suffocating all McWay's men."

I smirked darkly remembering the look on the Alpha's face.

"She paralyzed him and got her revenge by making him watch.. feel.. the pain of his men dying around him. When they were all dead, James was quick to kill him. She left the final death for him."

This is where he will either hate me more or thank me.

"Brian got her to her Brother because her whole body was worn to bits. She could hardly move a muscle from how exhausted she was. She mourned his death and I believe the possibility of the loss of you. When James picked her up..."

I trailed off not wanting to say it, but forced myself to.

"When James picked her up she had just little enough energy to whisper one last thing to him before her body gave out. She died in his arms."

I didn't even get to continue due to the fact that he began to tear the cell apart. I waited and waited, but he never tired out.

"Damn it.. Listen to me!"

He turned on me stalking closer ever so calm than he was just moments ago.

"She wasn't actually dead though. I gave her my blood, remember that part?"

He stopped as his whole body froze.

"She began her transition the moment her heart stopped."

Ugh. Here we go..

His bones began to break slowly as pure rage flowed through the air. However, he stopped shifting half way and shifted back into his Wolf. What the?

"Bash?!" I heard her voice yell from the stairs.

I looked to the left, then back to him.

"She is not dead. She is a Vampire now. I kept my promise without even realizing it. No one could have known she would have died that day let alone with my blood in her system. Your welcome."

I stepped back and placed my back against the wall against just as she came into view. There was so much hope in her eyes and yet anger. Of course she didn't know why he was down here. Leave it to me to explain everything to these two.

I was in front of her in the blink of an eye, but I definitely didn't expect what she had in store for me.
