Yesterday when the guys left to go attempt to compel Bash was the last time I seen them. It wasn't their choice. I made it clear they were not to come back unless Bash was back. So they didn't..

Hour by hour my faith was being destroyed. I just wanted him back. Today however just might be the day. The Doctor opened the door walking in.

"No Sire today?" He questioned surprised.
"Thank the Gods for it. I swear he is always lurking around near me somewhere."
"He tends to do that with all the new Coven members." He chuckled.
"Was he like that with you?"
"Always had a reason to show up here." He smiled while lifting my blanket.

I was a little disappointed when I woke up and I actually had a male Doctor. It was actually a female Doctor I seen before going to sleep when.. I was hurt.

"Are you okay with showing me your chest?" He asked softly while putting on gloves.
"Yes."

I removed my gown thankful for the open back and laid back allowing him to look at it. It didn't take but a second and he began to smile. I don't see how he could smile like that? I can't even look at it.

"Amazing. The fact that you've kept a steady diet and got plenty of rest helped the healing process speed up. Had you not fed you'd probably not be completely healed." He smiled while informing me.

I raised a brow.

"I'm healed already?"
"Yeah, take a look." He answered while grabbing a mirror.

When I didn't look into it and continued to only look at him he paused and put the mirror down.

"Still can't look at it?" He asked sadly.
"I can't. It's just a reminder of what happened."
"If you looked you'd see that there is nothing to remember." He said holding the mirror back up.

It was hard, but I finally drew my eyes to the mirror. Amazement. Relief. Shock. I couldn't decide which one to choose between so I chose all of them.

"How is this possible?"
"A Vampire's body is an amazing thing." He whispered.

I could tell even after all these years he was still amazed by it too. My wound was completely healed with no scars to remind me of my near death experience. What made me even happier was the fact that when I get Bash back that he wouldn't be ridden with guilt every time he seen it.

"You can leave whenever you want." He smiled while throwing his gloves away and walking to the door.

Before he reached for the handle he turned and looked to me.

"I lied about Sire." He admitted.
"I know."

He nodded then walked out the door. I wasn't blind. I've always known, but I chose to ignore it. I will always ignore it because at the end of the day.. He isn't my Bash.

I stood up and walked to the bathroom where I took a much needed shower and my toothbrush. After I was done I got dressed, then headed towards the one place everything in my body told me not to go to. The Coven Prison.

When I came down the hall I could hear talking before it stopped. They knew I had arrived. Brian, James, and Finn all looked to me as they stood outside the cell. Finn looked pissed, James looked wore out, and Brian was overall uncomfortable.

"We got nothing. He won't look at Finn and when we tried holding him down he kept his eyes closed." James spoke tiredly.
"It's okay. You and Brian go get dinner rest."

James looked to Finn who shrugged. I guess they don't trust me to listen to their instructions when it comes to Finn giving them. They're not wrong, but I did learn my lesson. How could I not? It nearly costed my life learning to listen.
