Dragonspine was a place that no mortal would dare to enter, not after the creation of Rhinedottir or otherwise known as Gold have been defeated. Kuni remembered Barbatos telling him the origins of the Cataclysm. How terrifying it must have been for the mortals.
They were walking through Dragonspine until they were met with a big skeleton that appears to be a dragon. Kazuha looked at him with worry. Barbatos kept walking until he plunged into a cave underground.
Both Kuni and Kazuha soon followed until they see something very similar to what appears to look like a crystal. Barbatos turned to them. "This is the heart of Durin. From now on I'm handing the task to look over it to the both of you." Kuni and Kazuha looked at each other and turned to Barbatos.
"But Master, Durin died long ago. It's impossible for it to come back." Kuni said. Barbatos shook his head. "While his body has long decomposed, his heart is still beating, Which means he is still alive. To be safe, I have sealed this heart and looked over it for centuries." He looked back to Kuni and Kazuha "There shouldn't be any trouble but lately there have been shaking coming from it, the chances of it regenerating Durin's body parts are very slim but never zero."
"With that being said, I believe that sooner or later I will have to renew the seal, I am not Morax after all, so it is weaker." He said. "Now then, I put the responsibility of this heart to the both of you, please inform me of anything that happens to this heart immediately." He walked out of the cave and open his wings. "I will be leaving now, I trust the both of you are capable of leaving this place without worries," both Kuni and Kazuha nods. "Very well then, that wraps up today, have a good evening" was the last thing he said before he took flight.
"I wonder what would happen if it did regenerate the body parts" Kazuha said. "Don't get any ideas" Kuni said before starting to walk. "Where are you going?" Kazuha asked "back to my domain, where else?" Kuni said as if it was the most obvious thing in the world. "Oh come on, let's explore a little" Kazuha said. Kuni stopped and turn to him "I don't know about you but this place is giving me the creeps" Kuni said. "And I don't want to stupidly kill myself" that was a lie and he knows it but Kazuha doesn't. Only the electro archon can kill him if she desires.
"Fineee, but we're definitely going to explore some other places right? Please say yes" "Kazuha please, if you keep begging I might ban you from my domain" "you wouldn't and we both know it" Kuni hates that he was right. Kazuha feels like family to him and he would do anything to not get him to abandon him.
"Does this make Dragonspine our territory?" Kazuha asks. Kuni thought for a second "well it's Master's territory but it is under our watch so yea kinda" Kuni said. While they were walking they suddenly saw a path that they have never went down before. Kuni and Kazuha decided to explore a little and followed the path. The longer they walk the more hilichurls there are. Kuni zapped all of them, killing them quickly.
"This place is crawling with hilichurls, what could make them gather here?" Kazuha asked himself. Kuni didn't answer. They arrive at a cave. A very narrow space to enter but is still possible. Kazuha went inside first while Kuni killed the remaining hilichurls. He heard a gasp on the inside. "Kuni! Come in quickly!!" Kazuha yelled. Kuni soon went through the the narrow space ond looked at what Kazuha was looking at. He gasped.
"An ancient ruin... I never saw this before." Kuni whispered to himself. Kazuha looked at Kuni. "Do we check it out?" Kuni shook his head. "No, this place is too dangerous just for the both of us to explore. Maybe if we have more members then we can explore it." Kuni said before going through the narrow space again. Kazuha soon followed and they both started walking. "We should tell Master what we saw" Kazuha said. Kuni nodded, agreeing with him.
How did he miss this part of Mondstadt? He doesn't know either. But he knows that soon that ruin will be investigated. What was it doing in a cave? It looked very old. He should inform this to Barbatos immediately. But not today, today is the day that he let himself rest and something he enjoyed doing but doesn't have the time to. Sewing. Oh how he missed doing it.
They later arrived at Kuni's domain. They both enter and both of them went up to the sky island. "I'm gonna go down the pond, if you need anything, you know where I'm at." Was the last thing Kuni said before swimming down the pond. He soon arrived at the hallways and enter the hallway 'chambers' and went into room number 6. He walked into his closet and grab his sewing kit and some fabric.
He then went and sat in the middle of his bed. He then open the kit and took out a needle, putting in the thread and started sewing.
