Heizou couldn't believe what he heard. Kazuha missing? Kaedehara Kazuha? THE Kazuha?? It couldn't be true. He didn't believe it. He doesn't want to believe it.
He felt a gentle hand on his shoulder. He looked beside him. It was Kuni's hand. The touch was soft and gentle, as if he wanted to comfort him.
"He couldn't have just... vanished!" Kuni looked at the archon and argued. Morax just shook his head in disappointment.
"I am sorry, little one. But your friend has not set foot in my nation. Therefore I am unable to help you."
"There's no way! He's got to be here! Just somewhere!" Heizou denied. Kazuha is still here! He is definitely still here!
"Don't worry Heizou! We'll find him! And bring him back!" Kuni grabbed his hand and started walking down the hill. "THANK YOU, LORD MORAX! LET'S GO XIAO!" He yelled while walking down the mountain.
Xiao looked at the gods in front of him and bowed down. Before he could feel someone dragging him for the back of his attire.
"I said. LET'S. GO. XIAO!" Kuni pulled Xiao. Kuni just gave the two gods a smile and dragged Xiao down the mountain while using his skill.
"Alright, we are absolutely helpless. What do we do?" Heizou asked while playing with his food.
"Don't play with the food." Xiao scolded. Most likely because the food in question was Almond tofu. Heizou just continued to poke the tofu.
"Well, since Lord Morax said something about not feeling any energy come in... he must be in Mondstadt still!" Kuni said.
"Is it still possible that he's there? He must have at least send us a clue!"
"I mean, he is kidnapped. Why would he send us a clue if he doesn't even know where he is?"
"Good point"
Xiao has been silent the whole conversation. Mostly because he doesn't know Mondstadt as much as these two. But also because he is craving the Almond tofu that was being destroyed by Heizou.
Heizou pushed the dish away from him. "I don't feel like eating."
"If you don't want it, I'll eat i-" Kuni was cut off by Xiao who immediately grabbed the plate and started to eat it.
"Or Xiao can just rudely take it away." Kuni finished his sentence while looking at Xiao with judging eyes.
"Kuni, I wanna go home!" Heizou whined. Kuni glared at him. "Be patient, oaf."
"If Kazuha really is in Mondstadt, I am certain that you will find him quickly" Xiao said after finishing the plate of his favourite food
"There's a lot of possibilities. He could've went away to the port, which in mind, is very far away from the city."
Xiao just sighed. "I can help as well" Heizou blinked. Once, no twice? No! Thrice! He slowly turned to Xiao.
"... you will?"
"I have nothing better to do at the moment. I can accompany you two. After all, Kazuha is family to me"
"Ok, that's adorable"
"It's nothing"
Heizou was glad Xiao would sacrifice his time just to join them.
"So, where do we start first?" Heizou looked at the both of them.
"Well of course, we should start at the obvious places" Kuni answered.
Xiao stood up and put a hand to their heads. "Hey! What the heck?" Heizou asked and looked at Xiao.
