Barbatos sighed. He was soooo tired. It was not everyday he has to do those wretched paperworks.
He wants some wine. He wants to spend time with his children! He wants to fly!
He wants to be free!
Without realizing it he started to doodle on one of the empty papers thankfully. Unconsciously, he doodled Morax.
He realised what he drew was a chibi looking head of Morax and he started giggling. He put a grumpy face to the drawing and sighed.
He misses Liyue very much.
He wonders how that blockhead has been since the last time he visited.
His thoughts were cut short when his door was knocked. He flinched and quickly hid the paper into a drawer and yelling "Come in!"
"Lord Barbatos, a letter for you" A tall blonde woman entered handing him a letter with a bow.
"Thank you, Jean. You may go now." He dismisses her. Jean nodded and left, closing the door behind her.
Barbatos looked at the letter. It had the Inazuma stamp on it.
"Oh boy, is this from Beelzebul?" He sighed and opened the envelope and took out the piece of paper.
He read through the lines one by one and his eyes started to widen. At the end of the letter, he was furious.
He wanted to rip the paper apart. But he had to send this to them. He got up from his seat and walked to the window.
"Vanessa!" He held his hand out and in just a few minutes, a falcon appeared and landed on his arm.
He scratches the Falcon's chin. "Hey there, old friend. How have you been?"
He showed Vanessa the letter. "You mind sending this to my children?"
Vanessa bit the letter and prepared for another flight towards Kunikuzushi's domain.
She just hoped he won't call her a bird again....
"Man... that was really tiring." Heizou said, sitting at the stone table with some tea in hand.
Kazuha eyed the tea suspiciously. Kunikuzushi was the one who made it. And you know exactly how he made his tea.
Ridiculously sweet.
Kuni on the other hand, has a book in his hand and a cup of tea in the other. The book was nothing special, just some techniques to use as a catalyst user.
It was a gift from Childe who is also a master at using a catalyst.
"Can't believe some people actually fight like this...." He mumbled and took a sip of his drink.
Heizou brought the cup to his lips and blew the steaming hot beverage. He then drank it slowly and scrunched his nose.
"Kuni.... I love you... But could you please stop adding like 13 tablespoons of sugar every time you make tea...?" Heizou pleaded as if it was his life he was begging for.
"It's 20." Kunikuzushi corrected him. And it didn't seem that sweet to him. Why was it so sweet to them?
"20?!" Kazuha gasped out in shock. He was glad he hadn't taken a sip out of the sweet poison.
Heizou, learning that the cup he held in his hand has around 20 tablespoons of sugar, felt his soul ascending to heaven.
Is this what freedom feels like? It feels like it... Oh Master Barbatos... Guide me and held me under your wing as you bring me the freedom I so desire....
"Oh, come on. It's not that bad." Kuni rolled his eyes. Seriously, his friends love to overreact!
"Not that bad?!" Heizou and Kazuha yelled at the same time. Suddenly the stopped as a bird landed itself on Kazuha's shoulder.
"Eh?" They all said at the same time. How did the bird get in?
"That thing looks familiar." Kuni mumbled. But Vanessa was one of the Four Winds. Of course she heard it.
'First you called me a bird, now a thing?! Such blatant disrespect! You're lucky Barbatos favors you!'
Vanessa stepped on the table and dropped the letter in the middle. Kuni grabbed the envelope and inspected it.
It had an Inazuman stamp. Oh great.... He opened the envelope and started to read the content. His chest started feeling bad.
Greetings Barbatos.
I will cut to the chase as I feel both of our time is valuable.
I know you have it. And I would like for you to return it.
Give me back my puppet, dear Anemo archon.

Is this a joke.... That failure of a mother suddenly wanted him back? Is this some kind of sick and twisted game to her?!
He gripped the paper in his hand and burned it using his electro powers.
He'll be damned to even go near her. Now she wants him back?! Well she can keep dreaming! Cuz he's not going anywhere!
"Stupid woman.... Does she really expect me to return to her arms and play happy family with her? She can keep dreaming!"
He looks at Vanessa and patted her head. "Thank you, little bird. For sending this to me."
Vanessa wanted to poke his eye out. How many times does she need to tell him not to call her a bird?!
She turned to the way of the door of the domain and flew down and exited the domain.
Kazuha waved bye at the falcon and Heizou put a hand to his friend's shoulder.
"Hey, you alright?" He asks with a gentle and soft tone. Kunikuzushi slowly nodded.
"Yes... It's just..... It's nothing important." He said, giving Heizou a small smile.
Heizou nodded even though he knew Kuni was lying. But Kuni knows best.
He could just hope whatever it is that is troubling his friend settles soon.

Hi. Im sorry but not sorry for not updating for 2 months. Anyways, I've come up with another au. Of course, it's chiscara.
So ajax died. He got killed in battle and scara was devastated as hell. He thought ajax betrayed him by breaking his promise to him. (Ajax promised he would return safe and sound.)
So while he was grieving, he was sent to the abyss and blah blah blah.
Come back to Ajax. The abyss is kinda different in this au. The abyss has 8 layers. When he was 14 he fell on the top layer where he had to fight all those monsters.
But in this au, the other 7 layers are the 7 deadly sins. Like hazbin hotel.
He git reincarnated as the prince of envy. Also known as prince Melodias.
Lumine is ruler of pride.
Scaramouche passed the first layer without knowing and landed in the territory of envy. When he was walking around, he saw the citizens running to the palace placed very far.
He walked and saw Lumine placing a crown on Ajax or more so Melodias.
And then he was heartbroken necause duh he thought he died.
But he realised that Ajax wasnt the same. He became......
